Q: Can you download the recordings?
A: Yes, during the 30 day trial period you have 30 days to download a video after it has been saved to the cloud before it is deleted from the cloud. After the 30 day trial expires you will then have 3 days (72 hours) to download a saved video to your phone before it is deleted from your 3 day rolling cloud.
A: Yes. It records for 12 seconds whenever it detects any motion.
Q: Is this device capable of reporting to a PC as well as a cell phone?
A: In short, NO. The video images are stored on the Remo server but you can only view via the phone App. You can not access and view the video files via the PC or the Remo server. Once you delete the videos via the phone App, they are also deleted from the Remo server. I hope a future version provided server access and viewing capabilities.
A: Automatic recording happens only when motion is detected, for 12 seconds. You can also watch live video. Live video you watch is also recorded, but only for about 15 to 20 seconds. After which the video terminates automatically.
Q: my remo doorbell has live view and audio on replay but no video on replay. need advice please
A: I would contact the manufacturer. You should see thumb prints. When you click on them it should play the video.
Q: Can you talk to a person at the door through this doorbell?
A: Yes!! Just did last week when the pizza guy came to my door and I was in my office...really cool.
