Preparing your car
We'll go through a preinstallation checklist and consult with you to determine mounting location of the status LED and the valet switch.
Putting the pieces together
We'll make the necessary circuit connections, including the immobilizer interface, door triggers, door locks and trunk release (if applicable). Additional parts may be required on some vehicles.
Factory-installed look and functionality
We'll mount the siren in a secure location, and mount the antenna, shock sensor, LED, and the hood and valet switches. We'll also route and conceal all wiring to the vehicle or control module.
To finish, we'll mount and conceal the control module, perform a postinstallation checklist, test all functions, and give you a demonstration of the security system, remote start, and keyless entry's features.
How to redeem and schedule your installation:
After ordering, you'll get a redemption e-mail containing a key code that validates your order. Find your nearest installation center and call to schedule an appointment.
What to bring to your installation appointment:
Bring a printout of your redemption e-mail, the remote start and security system you want installed, and any other parts you may have purchased for the installation.
A materials charge of $5 per vehicle will be assessed at time of installation. Some vehicles may require additional parts costing $10–$50. All manual transmission vehicles require additional parts or labor costing $70–$120.
Your Geek Squad Autotech will provide an estimate prior to performing work that requires an additional charge (including nonstandard installation) and any additional parts. Any additional charges will be assessed after the installation is complete.
For installation information for your vehicle, find a store with an installation center and speak with a Geek Squad Autotech. See terms and conditions for more details.
