Q: Why do you advertise this on Google as having 30+ 5-star ratings when it only has one 3-star rating?
A: Unfortunately you can't always go by the reviews of a particular item! An item such as the super retro-cade is for a more advanced user if you want to use it to it's full potential! As from my experience it is a decent system and it's well worth the money! It is one of the better plug and play emulation systems available! There's more simpler alternatives available such as the Legend's flashback which is also a good choice if you only want the basics! Hope this is helpful!
Q: Will you be able to play roms from different SD cards or are the games pre installed
A: Yes you can off either an SD card or a usb flash drive but you need to make a folder named (retrobit games) and all games must be placed in that single folder for them to work. This Super Retro-cade will work with NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, Genesis, Game gear, Genesis CD (requires bios files to work), Mame arcade, and Only v1.1 units support PCE (TurboGrafx 16) ROMs. Hope this helps! for more assistance there's plenty of information and videos online to show how this works!
Q: Does the back of the box show version 1.1 on it ?
A: I don't know which unit is available from Best buy but the one I purchased from a competitor is a v1.1 and from what I was told is that the major differences between the v1.0 and v1.1 is on the v1.1 it has a few different games and it has PCE (TurboGrafx 16) Rom support off a SD card or USB flash drive. Must make (retrobit games) folder on SD card or USB flash drive for games to work! Other than that both units are identical and use the exact same hardware! Hope this helps!
