I currently use one of these routers and they are very reliable and fast. I recently purchased a second home and didn't want to pay monthly modem fees so thought this would be a great service. However, Cox in my new area uses fiber optic cable to achieve 1GB upload/download speeds so I had to use their unique modem vs a cable modem.

I was kind of shocked how easy it was to setup. Just follow the prompts. Navigating around the user interface took a few to get used to, but once you did, it is smooth sailing. Had this over a month now and have not had any trouble with it. It just keeps on going without any problems. I am glad I went with NETGEAR. This product was solid and worth the price.

Super high speed output with this device. With my 1GB plan I am getting 1.2 GB/S output and 40 upload with XFINITY. I bought CAT 7 cables to go with it and did the link aggregation feature and have never had internet speeds that are so flawless. I have 25 devices connected to my router with three gaming systems and it never lags the internet.

I brought this modem because of the positive reviews and because I my good experiences with Netgear products. Plus I like to upgrade my modems every few years. Have not had any problems with this modem so far(no rebooting constantly compared to my previous modem). Quality product. Set up was easy as well. Pricey but it does what I brought it for.

Easy to install and lives up to it's specs delivering 456 mbs from my Xfinity cable internet subscription. Very few instances of buffering in 4k video streaming.

Yes, it pulls 1.2gbps. Keep in mind, you will need a router to split cables if you need a wired connection to computer and wifi router at the same time. This modem only supports one active port at a time.

Comcast upgraded our internet to 400mbps download so we needed a better modem. Decided to future proof a bit and get something for the long haul. Was super easy to set up and immediately got the faster speeds. I’m sure I’m not using all the potential bells and whistles but the speed is consistent and fast which is what I’d expect.

This modem provides higher speeds than our actual COX internet service allows... but it screams and is reliable and ensures we are ready for increased speed needs. We game (PS5 & PS4, computers) and streams services to multiple televisions in our home of 6 members... this reliably fulfills all our needs without any problems.

This cable modem functions extremely well. The ability to aggregate the two links together for theoretical 2gig through put is a nice touch, and great for redundancy. It would be nice if the diagnostics were a little more in depth, but i believe that part is mostly due to the cable company's firmware, rather than the modem itself.

Upgraded to this from the CM600 (which is also a great modem) to take advantage of my ISP's gig speed internet. Speed is spot on with what is advertised and setup was a breeze. Once it was all hooked up, I called my ISP and gave them the MAC address and in just a few minutes I had blazing fast internet.

This modem is top notch! Easy to hook-up, its compatible with most internet providers, great Downloads and upload speed, and the signal range is very good. I have the 800mbps plan and i was getting pretty close to that with this.

I use this with my google nest mesh router. Super fast. Both kids playing their online gaming while I’m streaming Netflix and browsing online. I see nothing slowing down at all. And I don’t have to hear the kids complain about laaaaag. I used to hear that all the time. So I had to man up and upgrade. Completely satisfied.

Works as expected, easy set up and good quality, blazing fast

Great product, works well. Only issue is the product has four ethernet ports but only one can be used at a time. Not sure why or the purpose but the way it's advertised on the box should be clearer.

I needed the most speed I could get with my new system, this modem allowed me to chance the performance of the new computer system I bought.

Great upgrade from my older Arris. Now get gigabit speeds. Old one only got me 120mbps of the 200+ I was supposed to be getting. Now getting over 320mbps. Haven't had to reboot yet. Had to reboot the old one at least 1 or 2 times a month.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this modem. We have used Netgear for years and didn’t know what we were missing by not upgrading sooner! With technology changing constantly and the need for multiple devices using WiFi this router has been amazing. We don’t have gig speed internet and I do speed tests almost daily. I have noticed that this Modem dishes out over 900mbps! The setup was easy and the nighthawk app makes things like speed tests, guest WiFi and network monitoring super easy!!!

We had an old modem from our cable company. Even though we paid for more speed, they hadn't replaced the modem in 8 years. We bought the Nighthawk and speed immediately increased. I'm not a techy in any way but setup was easy and painless. Good move!

I recently purchased this product based on reviews at Best Buy and elsewhere on the Internet. Remove the coax and power from the old Spectrum modem; connect the coax to the CM1200 and install power. Watch the blinking lights and then power on the router. In my case it is a Netgear A10. Call Spectrum. Agent sees the router does an admin thing. Stays on the line with you to test out connection to router, laptop wifi function, and network streaming to our TV. Everything works. Thank the agent, Say good by and you are off and running. Improved performance immediately observed and measured in wifi performance. Paying for 400mps and actually receiving a high of 492. Streaming is receiving higher measured speeds to Roku at 84mps. I am happy and pleased with the results. It is so nice to see a plan come together and work without any glitches. Blood pressure nice and steady. Watch for sale prices.
