The scanner doesn't always work properly and will display the scanned pages as blank. The scan feeder doesn't always work and HP support doesn't give a simple solution for a paper jam when printing. I had to figure it out for myself and was concerned that the ink could create a mess if I jostled it around too much.

However huge disappointment that you cannot move the printer even a little bit with this special kind of ink. We barely moved it over and right away there were problems with it. But otherwise it was a good thought pattern. I still have not found the place where I can do two-sided copies.

About 3 weeks after purchase I checked the Best Buy Return policy and it’s too late. I’m stuck with it. It prints better than I expected. My issues are with all the errors. I don’t know if it will print each time or what error I might get. I have to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the printer cartridge. Yes, even though there are ink takes it still uses ink cartridges the just have ink reservoirs. I also get errors about phantom paper jams and false out of paper errors. Plus one other one I can’t think of right now. If I’m having this much trouble this soon I don’t expect anything to improve and will probably get worse. But then maybe I can return under warranty. I forgot, another thing I don’t like is I can’t print 2 sided! I can if I print all on one side and then re-feed the paper in. Yes, this is by design and what HP means by 2 sided printing. I regret buy HP, I should have went with Epson or Cannon, the only reason I didn’t was because Best Buy was sold out of the other brands.
