This laptop is very light for its size, and it's very portable and convenient.

I had a West Coast Customs 1000WATTS amp with 2 10inch subs installed. I was going to install this myself but I could not find a way to run the power cable through the firewall to save my life.
I was cautious about deciding if I should have Best Buy install this system or a local car audio shop.
I decided to go with Best Buy after meeting the installer who is first off all older than me and immediately looks like he knows what he is doing and has a lot of knowledge of car audio.
The install took about 2 hours. After he called me in to pick up my Jeep he told me he has some bad news. Unfortunately I provided him with wrong guage power cable. He informed me off all the issues that causes plus what options we have to fix it. People always bring him the right cables so that is why his missed out on checking to make sure it was right before installing. We ended up putting in a 30amp fuse in the power cable to match the 30amp fuse on the amp itself. At least now I can upgrade to a higher RMS system without changing out the power cable.
No cables are visible on where he ran them so they are properly tucked away. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this install. I highly recommend.

Once my appointment was confirmed since my first trip to the store had been cancelled by someone the installation was great. Everything works great and as it should. Brant the installer showed me how to get around the new head unit. Brant explained to me in great detail the ins and outs of the subwoofer and the new head unit.

Had to schedule two months out (bummer) but Best Buy in North Anchorage did good work. Installed an amp for me and it looks better than I could have managed and the price isn't bad.
I did end up having to buy a line out converter even though I thought I had a pigtail that should have gotten me a line with the right signal but (1) that's somewhat more complicated than just installing a LOC and (2) maybe I was wrong.

Very knowledgeable installation. Got a rundown on what I had to get installed an what could make it better as well. Ramon knew about the products I had and what could make them better with other products other than what I came with. Can honestly say this was the best installation of my car stereos over time. Even when he didn’t know about the capacitor he still took his time to get everything done. Took a little more time than thought. But was well worth it for sure. Very happy with the outcome of it all. Thanks Ramon.

The install was ok. The technicians are polite. I would prefer one tech over the other. It was frustrating that the amp and sub stopped working after a week of use. I had to go back to the store to talk to a representative and schedule an appointment to have them look at my speaker. I hate that the store has no direct number and I have to call customer service center or go into the physical store to talk to a rep. After review, the connections to my sub and amp became disconnected. I did not touch or move the connections and they were hidden from view. Then, one of my door speakers stopped working or never worked. I assume it initially worked unless the tech was not thorough with the post inspections. Had to go back a third time. One tech told me that the door speaker sub was blown. I started a RMA for through the company I purchased the speaker. Then, another tech found that the same speaker that stopped working wasn't crimped properly and the wiring was coming out, as he was going to remove it for me. It was an inconvenience to drive back to the shop to have them look into issues that were either overlooked or not completed properly. Not to mention that one of the front speakers started rattling. The one tech told me that it was normal, and another tech double checked for me. He found that it was due to the wire harness being to close to the frame and resolved it with re-wrapping it with cloth tape and setting it further back in the door. I wish that the install was a one and done deal. I worry if any further problems occur in the future.
