At the price i bought it for and paired with an RTX 3070 graphics card connected with display port, this monitor is pretty amazing. Response is so much fast with gaming and the image/video quality is phenomenal. Will definitely recommend this to fellow gamers, video and photography editors.

I just must say this is a great monitor very clear and I must say for 280 Hz. my son purchased this for himself and I must say it’s beautiful. works great no lags he talks very highly of this. he’s also using an older monitor with this but it’s only 120 Hz. very good quality

Pricey but worth it. Had purchased 2 other monitors but had to return one after the other because of dead pixels. 3rd time was the charm. This one came with no defects and more features. Picture is high quality, blacks are nice and dark and the whites are bright and vibrant.

The salesperson answered all my questions and recommended this product. We are very happy with it... except that it does not have volume control. That is a real drawback for me. However, the display is excellent and helps bring gaming to life.

Been an awesome screen! I use it as my 2nd monitor now due to upgrading to 2k monitor but either way it has been superb! You can overclock to 280hz or keep it at 240.

This monitor is good and very decent to use it has speaker after I tested it sounds pretty good and no lags. Quality is good too and response time is great. thank you best for selling this product.

Really good 1080p monitor! 280hz goes a long way. Makes things really smooth!

Good color rendition, brightness and contrast. The slim bezel design is also very appealing and the unit is light weight without feeling cheap. My unit has a chain of stuck pixels which was surprising, because Acer QC is usually top-shelf. For those wondering, if you use DP and connect to relatively modern GPU, this monitor will default to 280 HZ straight out of the box. And 280 HZ vs 240 HZ is indistinguishable without invoking 'over drive'. Very minimum light bleed, almost zero IPS glow and looked fantastic even before using a Spyder X Pro. There is also an app called 'Acer_Display_Widget' that works really well if you're prone to wanting to switch display mode quickly without going into button presses on the rear of the monitor. This can be handy if you want to switch from gaming to content creation or to whatever else... Wanted to love it but it's a return and I'm not interested in playing the panel lottery this time around. Stuck pixels!

Great monitor, easy to assemble with no tools needed, just make sure to turn on the max brightness setting because out of the box it’s pretty dark but other than that a excellent monitor.

Though it’s a 1080p it’s got a high refresh rate for gaming,no gsync compatible .

Works really great. The wife loves it in conjunction with our 27” I Mac. Screen resolution is great.

The Acer Nitro XV271 Full HD IPS Gaming Monitor is an impressive piece of hardware. My son and I game on laptops, but he has been wanting a larger desktop monitor for a while now. We have high end gaming laptops, so our video cards are capable of taking advantage of this monitor. The bottom line is that this is a fantastic monitor for gaming and watching movies. It has a great design…sleek and refined. Built in sound that is acceptable, but nothing special. The picture quality is outstanding, and it can be customized to just about any look you prefer. It has presets for gaming, sports, etc. if you don’t want to tweak everything yourself. It is HD, not 4K, but do you really need 4k? I would recommend this monitor. Now let me break down our experience… The packaging is great. Very solid. It comes sandwiched in a Styrofoam clam shell inside a tight fit box. It’s well protected in transit. I wish the Styrofoam were recyclable, but otherwise the packaging is fantastic. Unboxing was simple. It comes with a nice weighted adjustable height stand, power cord, HDMI cable, and display port cable. Setup was super simple. The stand snaps together in seconds. No tools or screws involved. The monitor feels nice and stable. Height adjustment is simple. Just slide it up and down…no nobs or pins. I’m impressed with the feel of the unit. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. Something that’s important in the hands of a teenager! We chose the HDMI connection to the laptop. We used the included cable. It works very well. The monitor was immediately detected by Windows. We went into display setting and extended the monitor. Right out of the box is looks fantastic. There are a TON of settings to play with if you want to customize the look. I can’t imagine that you won’t be able to get a picture that makes you happy. One thing to note…this thing is pretty large. You need some depth on your desk to get it far enough away from your face. My son’s desk was only 24” deep. He quickly found that he was getting headaches. We realized that it was just too close and too bright. We added a pedestal behind the desk to push it back another foot, turned down the brightness, and turned the blue light filter on. That did the trick. The performance of this monitor is impressive. We haven’t seen any screen tearing at all. Fast motion is no problem for this monitor. Overclocking to 280Hz keeps up with high end games very well. The dynamic syncing between the video card and the monitor makes everything buttery smooth. Watching Blu-ray movies is excellent. This monitor meets the HDR 400 standard. The brightness, clarity, contrast, and depth of color are outstanding. This is a full HD monitor…not a 4K setup, but to be honest, very few people would be able to take advantage of a 4K monitor in any meaningful way. It simply looks amazing. We did encounter one glitch that has nothing to do with the monitor, but rather Windows trying to use the wrong video card (our laptops have onboard and dedicated cards) when the laptop lid is closed. If you hook this monitor up to a laptop and find that the screen gets choppy when you have the laptop lid closed, just do a quick web search and you will find information on how to deal with this issue. It’s NOT the monitor. This monitor does have built in speakers. They are nothing special, but they sound nice for built ins. No rattling or super tinny sound. If you are an audiophile, you are going to want a much better sound setup, but in a pinch, the built-in sound certainly gets the job done. Let’s be honest, nobody buys a full HD 280Hz gaming monitor for the speakers. Well, that’s about it. I hope you found this information useful. Happy gaming!

This is my 3rd Acer monitor that I've bought, and I absolutely love it! If I figure out the overclocking, then I will fall in love with it!

Fast and does the job! My only complaint is the light showing up on the bottom left corner but the monitor works well with next gen.

This monitor had everything I was looking for in a gaming monitor. Easy to setup and having the high hertz is a great plus.

The Acer Nitro XV271 27” Full HD IPS Gaming monitor simply put is an absolute beast. If you are looking to get a leg up on the competition, if you are looking to have incredible graphics, then this is the monitor for you. Set up is easy. The box comes with everything you need to get going. You get the monitor, stand, power cord, and one HDMI cable. The monitor does have the DP port, but if you want to use this connection, you will need you own cord. But even if set up was hard, which it is not, the reason to get this monitor is for performance. And wow, this monitor has performance. Instantly, you can tell that the graphics are smooth like butter. With an overclocked refresh rate of 280 hertz, everything looks perfect. There is jittering or freezing in the picture. More importantly, I experienced no detectable lag. At a full 1080p, the picture quality is amazing. Obviously 4K would be nicer, but I don’t think you will mind much. With a Contrast Ratio of 100,0000,000:1, this monitor performs. This also supports HDR to increase overall image quality. The stand that comes with it is easily adjustable. The monitor is easily moved up or down and side to side. The tilt is great as well, so you should have no problems adjusting it to the viewing angle you want. The only know I have on this monitor is if you wanted to mount it on a support bracket which houses additional monitors. There are no mounting screw holes in the back of the monitor. I imagine that some type of mounting adapter exists, but if it does, it is not included. The two HDMI inputs work great. The hidden selector buttons allow you to easily swap between the two inputs. Whether I was playing on the PlayStation or my gaming computer, the quality was the same, wonderful. The monitor has built in speakers if you wish to use that. There is a headphones jack, but I believe most gamers will opt for plugging directly into their device for two-way communication. In any case, the option exists if you want it. I truly love the Acer Nitro XV271 Gaming monitor. I recommend it to anyone wanting a high level, gaming monitor.
