the tech was courteous and knowledgeable, some of my existing equipment was obsolete and was disconnected by the tech. I needed more time and info from the tech concerning replacing that equip. I understand he had other customers to see however, now I will have to make another appt. to review the replacement of that equip.

The remote service was so inept that it was totally painful to interact with them. I first chatted with them to give me a quote on how much it would cost to bring in my laptop and the memory to install it. They kept on dodging the question for 45 minutes and in the end disconnected me without resolving my question. I was near the Best Buy store so decided to go in and speak to someone face-to-face. Within 15 seconds I got my question answered and she made an appointment for me to bring in the laptop and memory. When the day and time came to drop off the laptop and memory my wife went in to seemingly drop it off and go but the staff member kept her asking all sorts of unrelated questions for 40 minutes. After a few days I called the national number and asked them when I could pick up my computer because I received an email stating the work was complete but to schedule to pick it up online was way too far out. Why would picking up a laptop for which the service was already paid for need an appointment? The phone support person was totally useless but, fortunately, I had the email of one of the local Geek Squad staff and after sending her out a question on this same subject she replied that I could pick it up anytime and didn't need an appointment.

Canceled this because it took too long before they could perform the installation. Then, when the technician came to install it, there was a defect in a sensor in the printer and it couldn't be installed. The technician couldn't take the defective printer. I had to return it to the store and chose to cancel any processes by Geek Squad because nothing had gone right!
