A new computer is always a traumatic experience, but this one is a dramatic step up from my old device. Most notable difference is quicker performance because of increased RAM. One downside is the included software tries really hard to make me use their programs rather than what I want. Getting passwords squared away is always a hassle to figure out, requiring patience. Battery life not quite what I expected, and bottom of computer is hotter than a 2-dollar pistol. Maybe I will make some kind of stand for better cooling?
