Perfect college laptop for a gamer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Alienwa x14 R1 14” is a good portable gaming laptop with a solid 144Hz refresh rate. While it isn’t as powerful as other gaming laptops that are larger, it isn’t meant to be a desktop replacement and therefore it won’t break your wrists with the amount of weight that comes with desktop like performance. In fact this is the perfect laptop for the gamer college student. The RGB aesthetics are there and the performance from the GTX 3070Ti are obvious. You can play most FPS and racing games without any issue. In fact, I plugged in the x14 R1 and was playing F1 on the big screen on the living room without any lag! I bring this up because it is an avenue I don’t see exploited very much. I will try to play racing games on the big screen or VR games on the big screen so that others can be entertained as well. The easiest way to do this is with a gaming laptop unless you want to have a dedicated gaming PC for the living room… Dell G7 is a desktop replacement gaming machine that mixes aluminum and plastic well to provide a premium product that is not a fingerprint magnet. The i& is more than enough for productivity and gaming, and the 512GB hard drive is enough for a few a blockbuster games. Unfortunately more and more games want to hog hard drive space and it is becoming a big issue. The 16GB of RAM is also a good amount for gaming ad productivity. This is the reason I stated the x14 R1 is the perfect combo for a college student, performance in a to go package
