This thermostat is incredibly easy to install, and with the power company rebate, the cost was free. If I subtract the time it took me to get my tools and a ladder from the garage to access the furnace in the attic, install time was 4 minutes. My previous thermostat had three wires connected: W, R, G, so all I had to do was remove the old thermostat, install the new one and connect the previously unused blue wire to the "C" terminal on the thermostat and also inside the furnace. It couldn't have been simpler. I try to keep the use of the furnace as minimal as possible, so I set a daily schedule for 52° at 6AM, 9AM, 5PM, and 10PM. When I want to turn the furnace on, I'll ask Alexa to turn it on. It will heat to my "home" temperature of 68° and then will set it back to 52° (away) for the next cycle. Works great, so that if I leave home after getting up and forget to turn it off, it will turn it back down to 52° at 9AM.

Another thumbs up here. Setup was simple. I had a 5 conductor thermostat wire in the wall with the blue taped off because my "dumb" thermostat operated on 2 AA bateries. I just had to go into the attic and terminate the spare blue wire on the Common lug of the control board and the wiring of this thermostat was a breeze. Also kudos to the Amazon Thermostat brand for including an oversized decorative plate to cover the entire massive hole behind the old larger "dumb" thermostat. No sheetrock repair needed. Setup through the Alexa app was very intuitive (easy peasy). I already had 9 echo dots scattered throughout my house, so once it was linked to my wifi, I had full voice control of the thermostat from everywhere immediately. Awesome product.

Installed quickly by using the in Alexa instructions only. I did run a new C wire but they do sell adapters if you can’t run a new wire. Works well would recommend

It was a fairly easy install I did it myself. Setup with the app was easy as well. It's nice to be able to just set my preferred temp range and forget it. It pretty much just runs on it's own now. It's been over a month and no problems.

I was using ecobee for almost 5 years and it was alright, it did its job. I needed a replacement and I didn’t want to spend a ton of money so going for the Amazon smart thermostat was definitely the best option. Ease of installation? Five stars. Easy to use and I really enjoy the simplicity of it.

I absolutely LOVE this smart thermostat! My previous thermostat was a newer Honeywell so installation was simple. I already had all necessary wiring so I just took off the old and snapped on the new. I also have an Amazon ecosystem and it integrated seamlessly. I can now control my temp from the Alexa app and my Echos, see energy analysis, as well as my home's humidity. Simple, easy to use, and well worth the value!

Amazing smart thermostat. Works excellent with Alexa. The installation was very well explained that I did it myself in under 30 min and everything works great. I’m not one for cutting power and with this type of stuff especially being a woman and not knowing much about this type of stuff but I did it. Was quite proud of myself to say the least especially when it worked after I got it all hooked up and connected lol. It could be just my family and I but we believe a better thermostat makes a difference in your AC. Ours actually cycles off & on now and makes it to what they consider ECO mode in which it never did before. I love the fact that we can check it away from home going out of town etc if we forgot to make any adjustments to it we can change it right from our phones in the Alexa App. 5 Star Review here and highly recommend. This picture contains the C wire adapter but we actually didn’t need it for installation. It goes based off your unit etc so double check before purchasing one just because you have googled it or someone has told you that u do need one.

We now have 4 of these between 2 homes and absolutely love them! Worked without any issues for several years, intuitive, easy to install, and less expensive than others on the market. And controllable via Alexa or app.

Very easy to use, love the Alexa features of using voice command to adjust temperature. We have 5 different devices throughout the house. Need to follow directions carefully to install and pay attention to the old wiring on previous thermostat.

What I like most about the thermostat is that I can program it for heating and cooling. It works well with the Alexa app and with my echo devices. I have installed these on both floors and manage them from my phone or with Alexa on the echo dots.

Works well, should have hired the geek squad to install. But, oh well

Amazon - Smart Programmable Thermostat with Alexa - White I brought this to work with our Alexa . It work so well easy to connect change temperature by voice commands via Alexa device. Not to expensive as other smart thermostats.

The Amazon smart thermostat is a very basic smart thermostat. It is fairly easy to install and once installed, operates without any complications. I do recommend having an "Alexa" unit available, but not necessary, it just makes remote operations easier. Also, please note that it will take a few days before the thermostat is able to truly feel the desired temperatures. Until then, expect to make subtle adjustment changes for approximately the first 48 hours or so. The only real disappointment(s) is that I wish there was more programmable capacity and maybe it should show the current room temperature with the preset desired temperature. All in all a great basic, economical, "no frills" smart thermostat.

Lots of features for a low price, in a clean package. This thing is super easy to install and looks great on the wall. It almost disappears when the screen is off. The on board controls are a little unintuitive, but you can use the Alexa app or voice controls (with an alexa device) to more easily control it. It has a relay inside that clicks when the system turns on or off, so it is not perfectly silent like a nest or ecobee. Overall, great product for the cost.

Installation was pretty easy to follow through the app and required very little electrical knowledge. I love being able to control my AC through Alexa or the amazon app.

I have had two Eccobee thermostats. They are a very good product. I thought I would try this Amazon thermostat because if the exceedingly good price. At we having it for about a month, I am and very happy. It works well with Alexa and does everything I want in a smart thermostat. The install was easy as was the programing, and it connected with Alexa immediately. I highly recommend this thermostat.

Amazing for those who don't want to keep changing their thermostat you can do it from your phone leave a set schedule or ask your Alexa to do it.

This device works great with Alexa. I like how I'm able to monitor and control my home temperature remotely now. I replaced an old White-Rodgers t-stat.
