Amazon Smart Thermostat

Needed the WI-FI thermostat to track the guest usage and temp. I can set the limits on the heat and AC settings, just what I needed.

Beware if you own an iPhone 6/6S

Took a lot of digging on the blogs to find out that aspect. Would've been nice if Amazon had made that omission in their descriptions. Great value when paired with the Golden State Energy Rebates.

Kind of stupid for a smart device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This works well with the Amazon app and Echo devices, which facilitate remote control of the thermostat. BUT the Amazon hunches that are supposed to learn your habits and do automatic adjustments are a JOKE. They are never right. Each time, I provide the requested feedback on whether the hunch was right, but it never learns or adjusts. The next day, the same hunch causes the same wrong response. I have even been seeking help from Amazon’s customer service reps and they have not remedied the problem. So, basically, this smart thermostat is not very smart.

Beware of a lemon - hit or miss product

I've been on with tech support numerous times and they confirm that everything works as it should. I've tried the schedule and the manual mode and can't get the furnace to turn on or up. Instead, it triggers the HVAC when it wants to. Very frustrating and read others online having the same problem.

Not worth the time or money

Doesnt work with heatpump
