Would not work with my system. I hired someone to come see what was wrong. It wasn’t my installation, it just wouldn’t go with my unit. Returned it, and bought a Hunnywell T9

Only thing I disliked is that you cant control more than one under the same alexa amazon account otherwise works great

This thermostat did not work. I did notice after leaving the store that it was already opened, so I blame it on customer service for accepting the return and then marking it unopened. I am extremely disappointed. It was in fact installed correctly.

Tried installing in my house. Followed all instructions for the thermostat and the c-wire adapter. The thermostat kept blowing fuses in my furnace and will not work no matter what I do.

Hi Angelo, thank you for your feedback regarding the Amazon Smart Thermostat. In terms of being able to lock in a temperature, you do have the ability to set a schedule for your thermostat. Open the Alexa app . Select Thermostat . Under Thermostats, select your Smart Thermostat to open its control dashboard. Select Device Settings . Select Thermostat Schedule. Under Schedule, enter the times and temperatures you want for each daily event. To duplicate the day's schedule to other days of the week, select Copy Schedule to Another Day. To start your schedule, turn on the Use thermostat schedule switch.
Note: If you make manual temperature adjustments when your Thermostat is on a schedule, the change sets a temporary hold on the schedule. The temperature change holds until the schedule reaches the next change point, such as from Home to Sleep. I hope this information is useful. Does not work. I called amazon tech support to assist in the install to no avail. Thermostat does not work.

Hello PamelaA. I am so sorry for the trouble you and the technician are having getting your thermostat set up. Is it a possibility that you need the C wire adapter that is sold separately or could it be some other issue with the type of HVAC system you have? There are a number of compatibility questions that we won't be able to address or answer from this post so I recommend contacting Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 for further assistance getting your system set up. As long as you don't have any compatibility issue or missing adapter, I can personally attest that this device is built to be relatively easy to self install so I hope that you're able to get the assistance you need to rectify this and have a better experience.
