I use this to back up my internet modem and router.. I have tested it and it works.. Estimated runtime for those two devices is over 3 hours.. Perfect for when power goes out, keeps my internet up and functioning normally..

Have had this working on my entire work set-up for well over a year now, and it's covered my work and butt through three power outages so far. I like the info provided on the interface also. Functioning well with peace of mind knowing I won't lose anything when the grid goes wonky.

I bought this to provide battery back-up for the router and phone system. APC is terrific, and I have used their battery backups before. They are easy to set up, reliable, last a long time, and work well.

I've been using APC UPS's for many years. Always top quality, batteries last a long time 4 to 5 years, sometimes longer. Batteries are easy to replace. I usually get the 1500 for single-computer backup power, but this time I only needed to power a network switch. This 1000VA is way overkill for that but I wanted the display so I can check the battery status - instead of the battery dyeing with no notice.

UPS worked perfectly during a storm. Perfect UPS to use.

I have owned many APC products over the years and have found them to be reliable and they just work. You don't want to notice the UPS since it is just a back-up system. I noticed that the lights flicker in the office, no problem while working. California has rolling blackouts lately but no problem since I have the back-up battery. It just works!

Super easy to set up and works great! So far it's done its job through several power outages.
