Many appreciate its compact size and the ability to easily set it up, while also praising its affordability and good condition. Although some experienced minor issues with wireless connectivity, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. Better options
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This will work decent as a WiFi extender but there’s far better options out there for the money.

Geek Squad refurbished?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The information from the previous owner was left on the router. This took a lot of work to figure out and didn't allow me to do an initial setup.

Terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It did not come set up with a password! Now I have to drive thirty miles to a apple certified bestbuy to have it worked on and wait two hours!!! The product is probably fine but bestbuy is not the Best Buy!!

Repaired item doesn't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This would be my second express in the house and it wouldn't reboot once I set my data to extend my network. Tried doing a restore and that still didn't fix it.

Only worked well for 3 weeks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More difficult to set up than OEM Airport Express and reliably worked for only 3 weeks. I returned it. Wiser to pay the extral $30 and get new one

Used as an extender to spread my WIFI Signal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an Apple Time Capsule which I have a large house. So the internet would drop, after adding this device my internet has not drop once. With this device there is an option to plug in speakers which I use a lot. Also there is an USB slot for printer, and hard drive access. This device does have 1 open port to connect to your computer. I got it for $22 dollars are the rewards and buying it open box.

Great performance but gimped on ports w this one.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My sister had poor performance through her 1930's house floor. It was a cheapo Trendnet router. I swapped it out for this Apple refurb and the problem was solved. Very easy to setup with the Apple App on a pc. We went from a 2mbs upstairs to 36mbs. It's much smaller than the previous generation which I use. They left out the other 3 LAN ports. I was thinking about giving her the old one and keeping the newer generation but not when I saw that.

Great Wi Fi Extender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need a Wifi Extender as my bedroom has very weak Wi Fi signal, so i bought this Airport express and used it as extender, took few minutes adding it to my Time capsule router using airport app on iPad, , better Wi Fi all over house now. I wish it would be a bit cheaper, $100 is too high price, but if one do not need more than one Ethernet port this is a very good router, as it is simultaneous dual band router and can run two networks.

Geek Squad refurbished - big mistake
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure if this is a good device or not. I bought the geek squad refurbished model. When it came it didn't have any of the previous user data removed, so it wanted to connect to Roy's Aiport Express. Roy must have been the previous owner, his passwords and network were on it still and without paperwork I had no idea what the default password might be. My mac wouldn't pick it up as a new device because it kept picking up the old data. I went onto the Apple website and there documentation is wishy washy if it is not a clean device. After watching some really bad YouTube videos, I have it connected, my printer won't work thru it, but it's a start. The difference in cost, make sure you go for new, I wish I would have!
