No issues whatsoever as far as performance. However; when I received it, it hadn’t been reset so I had to do some research to get it back to factory settings.

I had to perform a factory reset to get it to work, but that was easy. The refurbished unit has worked great and looked new. The Airport Express is an awesome router for the footprint / price.

When setting up the Airport Express it will automatically connect to your Airport Extreme or Time Capsule and emit a WiFi signal with the same SSID and password as your current network. However, if your device doesn't autoswitch when it recognizes a stronger signal then this setup method is pointless. These act as wireless extenders by default which means that you're probably going to have to setup a different SSID and switch to that network when your main signal gets low. Definitely can be a confusing process for those who have never setup their own routers or extenders before.

Got this router to extend my network as I have an Airport extreme router in my upstairs office. I placed this one in my kitchen hidden ontop of my kitchen cabinets and it really does the job.

This was a life saver I needed a stronger internet connection in my basement it worked perfect now I can play my game on like with no buffering.

I bought this because buying multiple new airport expresses were to expensive. Thought I would try refurbished and it worked great. No issues and works great

We have an Airport Extreme in the main part of our house, but the signal doesn't quite get downstairs on the opposite end. So, we picked up this Airport Express and plugged into our wired ethernet in that room. The auto configuration really wanted it to be an "extended" network, but that created lots of problems with DHCP between the two routers and our Uverse modem. Finally figured out that the correct configuration should be "roaming" since both devices are plugged in via Ethernet. Just setup the same network name and password and off it goes! For "extended" it works by sharing the over the air wireless signal and passing it on.

I have been using these for over a decade to Airplay music. Simple to set up and can be used in so many situations to wirelessly play music throughout your home/business!

the refurbished router was a great deal at half-price. i have received strong constant signals throughout my home since installation. another quality product from apple.

Used to extend my network into my garage. Mounted on ceiling and works flawlessly. Was incredibly easy to set up using the Airport utilities app on my iMac.

I got this to extend my wifi network coverage in my house. Very easy to set up and to monitor to see if any firmware updates are required. Highly recommend, works great.

This is a great value, when it's working. I just updated my router to a mumio Linksys.This seemed to have a very positive effect on the dropouts. I set this up to join my network, not as its own network, for many reasons. But internet outages cause this to fail, even if the stream originates locally--ie from your computer. It does output a genuine 44.1 KHZ digital signal. The Apple TV converts to 48 khz and it is not a transparent conversion. So for pure audio, this is superior. Hook up your DAC, and you are in business. Enjoy the music!

I was skeptic of refurbished products but a friend told me to try it. I purchased two refurbished airport expresses and both have been flawless so far.

It was shipped super fast. It came in the original Apple box and the condition is like a brand new Apple Airport Express, great deal at a great price.

The refurb section is my favorite. I bought this to extend my wifi, and once I reset it because nobody did it before they sold it, it worked perfectly.

Easy to set up with great options like guest networking. Just download the app from Apple and set up from your iPhone or iPad.

Easy set-up and administration using Mac and/or iPad. Not for geeks who like to customize, so would only recommend to those who want to set and forget.

This gives our family electronic devices less interruptions through our WiFi . It seems to handle more at one time without slowing our speed.
