Adapter works great for streaming videos from my ipad pro or iPhone to my TV with an hdmi cord. I can also keep my iPad charged while streaming. Very easy to use. Just plug in and play. Love it!

Initially purchased same item, except not made by Apple, off Amazon. It didn't work for streaming Netflix etc, I'm told because of licensing Apple has with streamers. With this Apple version, I can now stream from my iphone rather than tie up my PC. Provided what I needed to cut the cord with cable co. Highly recommend it.

It does what it's supposed to as long as you remember to bring your HDMI cable and iPhone charging cable. Stream your Vudu, Apple iTunes, or Google Play libraries without worry. This is built for binge watching.

This adapter works perfectly to convert/mirror our ipads to the TV. We currently use it for Zoom meetings to see the little squares on our TV for a bigger picture.

I am using this plus a standard HDMI cable to connect my iPhone 8 to my TV. It was very easy to set up. There is also a port to charge phone while projecting.

I tried 3 other products from Amazon to mirror iPhone to TV and DVD screen in car. This is the only adaptor which let mirror Amazon Video and Netflix. You can charge iPhone while mirroring is a big plus.

Simple to use. I plug one end to my iphone X and the other end to HDMI port on my TV and viola! I can see my phone screen on my TV. I can now watch movies and play music right from my phone.

Cheap and very easy to use. Portable so you can take it with you when you travel. Easy to connect to a monitor or projector. Nowadays technology is CASTable so this may become obsolete...but for the money, definitely worth it.

One of the downsides of owning an ‘’i’’ device is the dongle nightmare, there should be more options in term of dongle choices, like a VGA plus HDMI dongle, because both of them are separated and in my country (Mexico), both standards are very common in educational settings. I bought an adapter from china and I must say I know why this cost so much, the video output is almost free of lag, the Chinese one stutters with animations and stuff. Bought this to be able to transfer video stream from iPad/iPhone to my tv. Works great! No issues with sound or picture quality. I thought $50 was a bit steep, but it’s Apple so to be expected!

Though pricey in the Apple product way, this adapter now enables connecting our iPhones and iTablets to our television display with ease. Also great that the adapter allows for charging the source.

I recommend this product because is needed on a daily basis. It allows you see from your on a tv for a bigger and better quality for picture. It is Easy to carry wherever you also get to share with other people so also adapt their phone to big screen I use at church all the time to show movies about God straight from my phone. This is a must have for those needing to connect to a television or projector. I demo technology platforms daily and this allows me to easily show the steps/tools on a larger scale than my iPad.

I use it to show content from my iPad to and old Samsung TV. Works well. No need to go to other websites to program the connector, it's all in the module. Just connect, plug in, watch. Note: when viewing content on Paramount+ on an iPad, there are issues with ad blockers, and it needs to be turned on and off to get the picture, which is an issue with Paramont+ and not the device. I have no problems with other sites.
