Easy way to connect ipad or iPhone to television. Great accessory to stream video to tv.

I bought this for my sister-in-law to hook her ipad up to her non-smart TV. We have a similar one we take on trips for my wife's older ipad. With it and an HDMI cable, we are able to connect her ipad directly to any TV and stream anything from the ipad, such as Netflix, through the ipad onto the TV, while having the ability to charge the ipad at the same time. Great for rainy days away from home!

No instructions needed. Hooked right up to my phone and we were able to play the movie!

If you are looking for a hardware setup for live-streaming 3DS gameplay that doesn’t involve an expensive capture card and modding, this is a decent alternative. Just plug it in your phone on a tripod, and you’ll be able to keep it charged and show what your playing on screen with the HDMI cable. Adapter allowed me to hook up hdmi to my iPhone 6s via lightning just like I expected. Only drawback is the cost is ridiculous, do not see how product needs to be that expensive.

I love this adapter. When I travel I hook it up to the tv and I can watch a show on netflix or anything else my iPhone will play. I hook up the charger and I don't have to worry about the battery going dead in the middle of a movie. I do have to say that a friend has one and it did not let him transfer a video from his iPhone to the tv, probably because of a third party issue. I, on the other hand, have had no issues.

We wanted to be able to watch tv in our trailer while camping. This was easier than paying for the cable connection. We used this to connect the cell phone to the tv. We were able to watch anything that was streamed online or one of the programs we have downloaded on our phone.

item does exactly what its meant to do. a bit overpriced i would say but does the job i bought it for.

Product works great picture quality. Even has a slot to plug in your phone to charge.

Love this adapter so much I had to buy two more for other TVs in my home! I use this adapter daily to mirror what is displayed on iPhone/iPad to TV so I can view pics and video streaming apps on a larger screen. Being able to charge device simultaneously is a bonus! So easy and no lag.

Works great for using my wife's iPad to stream movies from both Netflix and Verizon's HBO GO, Max Go, Starz Play, Encore Play, Epix, and Sho Anytime. All you need to add is an HDMI cable and wifi. Tested it with HD TV at home, then different HD TVs in motels across the Country. As luck would have it the condo we rented for our ski trip had an old tube Sony Trinitron, great picture but no HDMI input, so no go.

Purchased this Apple HDMI adapter for use with my IPhone in order to stream content to my TV in a newly purchased travel trailer. It works like a charm and even charges my phone or IPad while streaming content to the trailer TV.
