Love this adapter so much I had to buy two more for other TVs in my home! I use this adapter daily to mirror what is displayed on iPhone/iPad to TV so I can view pics and video streaming apps on a larger screen. Being able to charge device simultaneously is a bonus! So easy and no lag.

Unused this to connect an iPad (and later my iPhone) to a projector to play movies at a camp. So easy just Lou it in and your screen appears on the hdmi device. If you ply a charger into the adapter it charges your device as well.

Great accessorie works awesome just make sure you have a hdmi cable

This is Awesome. For someone who streams alot of movies on my TV this product is great. Sometimes airplay doesn't work so this product is perfect. The clarity is amazing as long as the clarity of the picture is high definition on your phone. It's pricey compared to other companies on Amazon (which skips and lags) but it's well worth it.

Easy to connect to any tv with hdmi port. Great alternatice to apple tv.

I need to be able to connect my ipad to projectors for Keynote presentations. Some facilities use HDMI. Some use VGA. I picked up both and they work great. Returned a combo unit I bought from Amazon because it only works 50% of the time and it requires power. These Apple adapters do not require power, although they do allow power to pass a through to the device.

This connector does what it's supposed to do. Easy to connect, it also allows for supplementary power input (often needed for long streaming). The streaming to TV's of different brands was flawless. It's just a cable, so it's very portable to wherever one want to connect an iPhone, tablet, or other device (with a lightning connector) to an HDMI input. Note: it does not include an HDMI cable.

I love this product as it does exactly what I need it to do. I line out from my iPad to a monitor which is great for more than one person to view. The only downside is that it will not fill your 16:9 HD screen. It shows in 4:3 format. I’m sure there is a work around for this but it works just fine for me.

I bought this to use on my iPad...I do not have a smart TV so this is a great way to watch Netflix and other streaming media on my TV. It works perfectly with no additional installation or settings modifications necessary. Literally plug and play. My iPad recognized it immediately and the picture and sound are excellent.

Great video adaptor for Apple products with lightning port. Works as intended.

Purchased this adapter so that I could stream movies from my mobile apple device to my Samsung TV. Worked well, really and truly there is not much set up required. Plug one end into your apple device, plug in usb from your TV and plug into electrical outlet to keep your apple device charged during play back.

Excellent! Connects phone to the tv with ease .i was able to watch an app they don’t have for tv yet on from my iPhone by using the cable.

This adapter (like most Apple products) works exactly as advertised with zero issues. My only problem with it is the high cost considering it requires a cable. The previous generation Apple TV, for example, wirelessly performed all of the functions of this adapter and so much more... and yet only cost roughly double the price of this adapter. If the new Apple TV wasn't priced so much higher it would all but render this product obsolete. That being said, if portability is a concern, this adapter is still much easier to throw in a laptop/iPad case and take with you compared to an Apple TV.
