I also use an AppleTV for wireless screen mirroring without cables, but sometimes there are issues, so this adapter is a must have for reliable connections, even if you have to deal with cables (hdmi plus lightning to USB for power).

Great Cable - NO Audio to video delay like cheaper

I also bought an extension cable for lightning and it works really well. There is no audio/video delay like the other cables that I bought. great tool to get the best of your iPhone iPad

When I changed from Apple products that had the 30 pin connection, the cables were useless. I purchase this cable on the suggestion of a BestBuy rep. I love the ease of use. It actually mirrors everything on your iPhone or Tablet on to the TV screen. I love it!

Always make a connection

Never know what a client will show up with at an event. Got to have all the cables and connectors needed to perform my task of connecting laptops to projectors. Apple connectors work with MAC and PC. What can I say, they work.

Present anywhere with your iOS device

And I love presenting from my iPad because it allows me to use the iPad as a "confidence monitor." Many conference rooms at work have Airplay devices, but not all of them. So this comes in really handy. Don't buy after-market adapters. Get Apple-branded ones only. I've been burned more than once.
