I traded in my 2nd gen Pencil for the new Pencil Pro basically for free, and it's working great. However, other than Find My, I don't see a huge advantage over the 2nd Gen Pencil, and it doesn't work on older iPads.

Love the pen. The design fits perfect in your hand and the options are awesome. It magnetizes to the side of the ipad.

I purchased this Apple Pencil for digital art and graphic design on my iPad. It is very smooth and easy to use, and the way it charges by magnetically attaching to my iPad is very intuitive and convenient so I can’t misplace it or lose it. The squeeze and double tap options are very convenient and make the process of drawing on my iPad very fast and smooth.

My son recently broke his iPad screen, and his old Apple pencil was not compatible with the new one. The new one works great, and my son says that the touch sensitivity is great.

10/10 would buy again wish it had a thicker grip but still works great

The Apple Pencil Pro, at just $129, is a game-changer for school note-taking. I’m using it for Calc 3 and Physics 2, and it’s honestly amazing scribbling equations and diagrams feels so smooth and natural. The squeeze gesture lets me switch tools fast in apps like Notability, and the barrel roll makes sketching graphs crazy precise. It charges magnetically and has Find My, so I’m never worried about losing it. This pen’s a total lifesaver for keeping my notes organized and fun to write!

The Apple Pencil pro is a significant improvement over the Apple Pencil USB-C, that is the other option for the newer iPad Air line (m2 and m3) and the (not compatible) Apple Pencil 2. While I was down to see that my Apple Pencil 2 would not work with my new iPad, I will call it a blessing in disguise. The new features of the pro such as haptic feedback and Find My are amazing additions to an already solid device. If you are like me and misplace small items regularly, find my is especially what makes this a worthwhile investment. If you are on the fence, make the jump! You won’t regret it.

I have to admit I was a bit peeved that I had to upgrade to the Apple Pencil Pro when I upgraded my iPad Mini, but after I got this thing home and saw how easy it was to use and tried out the improvements over the Apple Pencil 2, I was sold! I now plan to purchase a second one to go with my iPad Air.

Love this pencil. Definitely the best Apple has put out. The haptics and double tap make drawing so much better. It's annoying that only this model works with the iPad Pro, but not annoying enough honestly lol. The feel of the pencil is just better to work with.

I like the strong magnet and the Haptic feedback. Also being able to locate it in the Find My app is a great feature

This is my first time using an Apple Pencil Pro, so far I’m liking it. Great features if you’re an artist quick access buttons for different brushes and colors. Many different ways to use it. Great sensitivity. When using notes or writing in general, it has great response and accuracy. If you are an artist, I absolutely recommend it. If you just like writing with a pencil instead of typing with your finger again great and I recommend it.

Amaizing I just love how easy it connects and works

I love the Pencil Pro, although I'm not a strong power user by any means, so I'm sure there are a lot of features I'm not getting the most out of. That said, the wireless charging and overall integration with my iPad Air is spectacular and was incredibly easy to set up. While the Pro is a little more expensive, I think it is worth the extra cost for the added features, especially if you get the Air or the Pro iPad.

Easy to use. I likethe hover mode, squeeze option. The scribble skill is also is great to improve readability. The ability to charge on the ipad makes it easy allowing the pencil to be charged up when you need it.

Pairs and charges perfectly. I got it for my mother to go with her iPad that I bought for her birthday and she has not put the pencil down yet.
