I have enjoyed the pencil pro. I have an annoyance with it though. Since I bought it for my work iPad and my work doesn’t allow a personal profile on the iPad, I’m not able to attach the “find my” app to the pen. Apple should make it so that you can at least use that function with an iPhone, even if you can’t use it on the phone. At least you could still find it easily when your kids throw it under the couch. Otherwise it works well. I haven’t used any of the other Apple pens but I guess it works the same?.

Pencil pro versus the others

In contrast, I ultimately decided not to purchase the iPad I brought, as there was no compelling reason to have a pencil. However, I must emphasize that the iPad Pencil Pro is an exceptional product. Do not disregard the opinions of others who claim that you can function without it. If your budget permits, I strongly recommend purchasing it immediately. It offers significantly more functionality than previous generations of pencils. It is not comparable to upgrading from an iPad M4 to an iPad M5; rather, it provides a substantial improvement over the previous generation of pencils. And as far as the ESR Geo and all those other pencils when it comes to the compatibility with Apple, nothing compares so go ahead and grab you a Apple Pencil Pro.

I bought the Apple pen pro to pair with an apple iPad Air m3 and I am liking it so far….as with most Apple products, I originally opted for a pen from a 3rd party to save money, and I am happy to say that the Apple pen pro is the best option…An Apple pen paired with an Apple iPad….they were made for each other…still learning about all of the features, but I am happy with my choice and I would recommend it.

The best pencil for iPad by far

This is a great pencil for the iPad. I came from the Zagg Pro Stylus, which was great! But this is next level. The pressure sensor in the barrel is great if you are drawing. The double tap feature is super convenient. The weight is perfect. The fact that it can snap to the side of the iPad is so convenient. I keep it on there all the time and don’t worry that it drains the iPad battery cause it’ll drop the iPad battery maybe 2% over the course of a night. It’s an awesome addition if you take notes, draw or something like that. I’m no artist but I use it for some light drawing of stuff for my D&D campaign and draw notes and mark up pdfs for work. It’s stellar.

The Apple Pencil Pro is an excellent addition for anyone who uses their iPad for drawing, note-taking, or design work. It’s precise, responsive, and feels natural to use, especially with the pressure sensitivity. It charges quickly and lasts quite a while on a single charge. A bit pricey

Pen works great when drawing or designing stuff to print for many DIY’s
Easier than having to use your finger to correct minor details. Used frequently along with the Cricut.

Love my Apple Pencil pro it’s nice to use and it doesn’t take me long too switch from pencil to easer and the battery is amazing on it. I could listen to an entire class and not charge it and it would still be 95% charged

Originally questioned if I needed this pen, but as I continue to lean things I can do with it from writing notes to text or even just a pointer on fine details i truly love the added ability.

The apple pencil is very responsive its like one of the lowest latency experiences using it with an iPad when with a non pro motion screen compared to something like the desktop. I really appreciate how it just snaps on to the side of the iPad very which is very convenient. Specifically for the pro the barrel rotation I basically use it on most brushes in clip studio and procreate its basically exclusive to a select few art pens among drawing devices but apple does include it. I'd say for $130 dollars its worth it.

“A must-have for Procreate”

I mainly use Procreate for drawing, and the Apple Pencil is something I use every single time. The pressure sensitivity feels very natural, and it responds exactly how I expect when drawing.
What I like most is how comfortable it is to use anywhere — at home, outside, or even while waiting somewhere. It really feels like the iPad and Pencil are meant to be used together. It’s expensive for a stylus, but if you draw regularly, it’s absolutely worth it.
