Sooo much better than the last remote. This one has the mute button (much needed because commercials are so annoying) and overall a lot more user friendly. I also like that this one fits better in my hand and will not get lost as easily.

This was a Christmas gift from my wife who knows I like tech gadgets. We have the Apple TV 4K model. Easy to pair and get started right away. It feels good and has some weight to it. I like using the mute botton for advertisements. Only con is the price.

I bought this newer Siri remote to hook up to my Apple TV 4K and it’s a MILLION times better than the old one. Build, design and how much easier it is to hold and navigate through menus makes this thing perfect for what I need. Glad I got it.

This remote is an upgrade to the lousy AppleTV remote of the past. Best feature is the power button that will control your tv. It also does away with the touch pad, although the new buttons are also touch sensitive. A great upgrade!

This is what the previous Apple TV 4K remote should have been. We love the new design, especially the mute and power buttons. We also appreciate the clickable ring which makes commercial skipping much more precise.

I had to replace my old one that had the glass. This one works great. It’s more durable and easy to use. Also remember that if you have a iPhone, you can use that as a remote too.

Upgraded from the old Apple Remote to the newer version. What I love about this item is that actually to get it to work is as simple as snapping your fingers. My older remote began giving some issues after many many years of service. So I decided to get this newer version of the Apple TV Remote and once I got it around three feet of my Apple TV device it sync in a matter of seconds and it works flawlessly. A good thing is that I didn’t have to buy the newer Apple TV for it to work. Plus I got an open box which saved some money.

This is the Apple TV remote that they should’ve made in the first place. The old remote was terrible. This one I had some thought into the design and feels and works much better. Another overpriced Apple device, but works well.

Been putting off upgrading my Apple TV remote for a while. Only regret is not buying sooner. Pairing with my older model 4k Apple TV was easy. Took seconds. It’s worth the upgrade folks.

Great remote, it's nice to finally have a single remote with TVs and Apple TV. It's bigger and more solid than the original remotes and nice to get rid of the slider and go back to a joystick.

Only 4 stars for the learning curve and still being extremely sensitive to touch. Overall, if you have the black old iPhone remote you will NOT be disappointed buying this one to upgrade. So much better to hold, use, navigate with and quality. You can navigate with both the dial and the inner touch pad. The mute bottom (why did we not have that before!!) is a blessing.

WELCOME relief to the older remote. The older remote was finicky and I hated it. This one? Beautiful. Tactile ease and a breeze to operate! Beautifully built as well. AWESOME!

The redesigned Apple TV remote is much easier to use than the original mini design. I can find the buttons by touch and zip between screens easily. The larger size makes the remote easier to locate.

Hands down a better remote than previous. More substantial so not lost as easily. Not as hyper sensitive to any slightest touch. Buttons have good feel overall more comfortable in my hand. Now if they would just lower the price

We had the old Apple Remote that came with it and hated it. This remote is so much better. Easier to use and the battery lasts a long time before recharge.

I love this remote more than the small black one that came with the 4k apple tv. This feels very well made, I like that they added a power button and the mic button is on the site.

Apple finally built a durable and practical remote which has everything you need! The dedicated power button is a must convenience! The new click pad is so much easier than the old remote.

This is definitely the remote that Apple should have made when they made the original Siri Remote for the Apple TV 4. It's much more solid in the hand, nowhere near as fragile, and the dedicated TV power button and side-mounted Siri button fit in much better than with the older design. I could even say it's the remote Apple should have made with the Apple TV 1, 2, and 3, as it's also much more substantial than the original plastic and aluminum remotes from 2006 and 2010, respectively. The only problem is no remote finder feature, but that would also be difficult to use as the Apple TV units themselves have no buttons on them.

Apple has listened to their customers and added iPod click wheel functionality to the AppleTV remote. It’s not a sleek as the black remote, however it’s much more user friendly.
