This sis a much better remote than the original that came with the 4K Apple TV, no more over swiping, and you can find it in a dimly lit room.

Love it better than the regular remote!! Doesn’t break like the original one which I never thought was glass!

This was bought as part of a gift package for my family along with an Apple TV for their living room. This remote was an upgrade to an older remote that had managed to vanish into thin air somewhere in their house. It took a little getting used to, but once that happened, the family loved the new features and usability that Apple built into it.. And in true Apple form, it simply works. The only problem I see with it is the size. It's small enough that it makes it particularly easy to lose or to fall victim to curious kitties who knock it under the sofa playing pawball with it because it slides very easily on hardwood floors. (And yes, that's where we finally found the old one after six months of searching, finally giving up, and then discovering it during spring cleaning all the way under the sofa against the back wall where the Roomba doesn't go). To solve the size and kitteh problem, I also got a remote sleeve that will effectively rubberize the remote, protect it, and make it a less enticing plaything to the kittehs but not allowing it to slide on the hardwood floor. All-in-all, it was a good investment. My family loves it and are happy with it and by proxy so am I. And you will be too.

Awesome remote! Get it for all of your old Apple TV’s! The build quality is excellent and the wheel offers much better utility

Replaces my original remote. I love the fact of being able to click instead of scroll. Battery life is better and easier to grip.

Excellent Apple remote. Larger and has a power button. Much easier to use than the previous smaller version remote.

Good apple product. Was easy a pair. Only problem is that it is really small and easy to lose in the couch.

Wish this would have come with the Apple TV when I bought it. Feels better in the hand. Ended up finding the one we lost three days after purchasing this.

I love the options of touch and click to select things, and the slightly thicker remote body is easier to hold. Great upgrade!

Pro tip: these are not for toddlers under 4 lol Good thing we were able to use our iPhones as we waited for the new remote.

Love the new Apple TV remote! It’s a huge improvement over the prior model. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the price is a little high but that’s Apple for you. I do like that they offered this as an upgrade and did not force people to buy a new Apple TV. I am having one issue and it’s probably not the remotes fault but rather my setup. When I use the power button to turn everything off it works, but then my Sony TV and receiver turn back on. Still need to figure out a fix for that. Otherwise this is a great upgrade if you have an Apple TV.

Sooo much better than the original remote. Faster getting through everything and the Siri option is a lifesaver.

Works great as the replacement for the originally remote that was misplaced while moving to a new house. In fact, this remote seems to be working better than the one that came with my Apple TV device. Haven't had to press the button a couple of times to get it to work. Only downside is the price, for just the remote.
