Great performance to control Apple TV. Siri supported, touch pad to blaze through menu system and titles. Huge improvement to old remote.

If you have used the old Apple tv remote then you definitely need this. It feels good on the hands, not cheap like the old remote. Way easier to use. Do you really need this remote... not really but it does make the experience easier.

Excellent remote and I have 4 of them !!!! This is one of the best products Apple has came up with!!!

Somehow, our older Apple TV remote got broken and I replaced it with this model. It's a vast improvement! Its power button turns on the entire home theatre system and scrolling is much easier to control, compared to the older model. I haven't tried much with Siri, yet, but simple commands are effective. You can even change the volume on the remote! My only regret is that I waited for the old remote to break before upgrading.

Much needed redesign of the remote. The clickwheel makes fast-forwarding, rewinding, skipping, menu navigation much easier. The trackpad makes it easy to scan for a specific time stamp too. The Siri button is on the side now, so you won’t accidentally hit it. The dedicated power button also makes it easy to turn everything off quickly. And there is finally a mute button!! It is overpriced though - but then everything apple makes is overpriced.

What are a great improvement over the previous generation Apple remote. This one is solid and has a dedicated mute button (great for those annoying commercials that always have some irritating song :-0 ) and an actual power button. My favorite feature is the return of the cursor buttons and the ability to turn off the touch sensor. This eliminates all of the accidental scrolls and clicks that plagued the last generation remote.

I like this remote much better then the last one. This feels more like a true remote and I also like the heft of it. What I don’t like of course is the price, but that’s with all Apple pt, lol

This seemed like an unnecessary purchase since I already had a remote that came with the Apple TV. However the original one was difficult for me to work——not user friendly for me. I had read some reviews that sounded good, praising this new remote. I decided to go for it and am glad that I did. Now I can easily access everything that used to be troublesome. I an happy with my purchase, a bit pricey but what Apple product is not.

I great improvement from the last Siri remote, which I broke several from drops. The only down part of the remote is that they didn't include a "find my" feature in the remote

This is what the first gen remote SHOULD have been. replaced that wafer thin, hard to use standard remote.

I've been a fan of the AppleTV streaming device for years, but when they came out with the previous generation remote I was very unhappy with it. I didn't like to use it and it effected how often I would engage with my AppleTV. However, all that changed when Apple FINALLY came out with this Siri Remote. I love it. I makes my interaction with my AppleTV extremely pleasurable. Thank you Apple.

Very nice remote, easy and smooth to use, great product and ideal for home use

Must have for all Apple TV users. Excellent product.

Pros: solid aluminum (no more brittle glass top), one-step precision arrow keys (in addition to the touch surface), a mute button (but I haven’t used it for a whole month). Cons: the new power button powers off only my TV not the sound bar (so I assume it’s not infra red power on signal), the power button DOESN’T power the TV on! (WTH) so I am stuck with my tv remote to turn things on AND have to get up and walk to the sound bar to turn it off so that it’s not toggled off by tv remote.
