This works really well, it is quick and there have been no problems so far.

You can't really get a better router modem combo than this for all your needs. It has a very strong radius and extremely fast speeds, especially connected to mobile devices. It took me a minute to set up through my cable provider, but I would recommend that you just call them direct. Don't try to set it up yourself. It'll be much faster.

Over the yrars we have purchased our Routers and Modems rather than lease from our provider. We purchase a few steps up which means we aren't replacing these as often as the lease items which saves a dollar or 2. What I like is the all in one feature. It saves room on the desk. The item is stylish. The challenge with having your own items is the hours, and yes I do mean hours it takes to get the internet provider an the manufacturer to synch the item. It did take the better part of 2 days of phone calls to get this sucker up and running. If not for that I would have given it 5 stars.

My review covers both the purchase of the Arris modem router as well as the experience after activation. My home router "died" and left me with no internet access near the end of the day. Ordering another router online meant a 2 day downtime which I could not accept as I use my internet for business as well as home use. I checked reviews and availability of modems at the local Best Buy, and they had one in stock that I thought would be best. Fortunately I had half an hour before the store closed and was assisted by a very knowledgeable representative who not only knew the characteristics of the unit I initially sought but who more importantly knew the drawbacks. He showed me the Arris Surfboard which was comparable in prices but with much more reliable specifications and track record. After purchasing the new unit, I had to engage my internet provider to complete the installation, but the unit has performed seamlessly since then.

Great product, I return the Zfinity i was renting and activate this one without any problem, it took me around 25 mins. I recomend give Arris an oportunity. Like I said, I have Xfinity plan and it works perfectly.

I did a lot of research to find my best option for the money I was able to spend. I am completely satisfied with choosing this router/modem combination. My internet speeds have vastly increased. I am no longer having any internet interruptions.

Works great so far. Didn't expect my old Modem and Router combo to fail, but this was purchased and is exactly what I need. Set up was quick, and connections work great so far! Hope it lasts longer than my other Arris model did!

Very easy to setup. Coverage much better than older Arris.

Replaced rented xfinity unit. Less bulky on desk top. Set up instructions were a bit confusing. Works just fine, should pay for itself in about 10 months.

I’ve had no issues with my internet (aside from a power outage) I download a lot every week day for work and it’s worked like a charm. It saves space to have a modem and router all in one. I’m glad the Best Buy associate I spoke to recommended this to me and would recommend this product to others.

This was easy to set up and works great. When I added a my router that too was an easy process.

Works great, It was easy to set up. The only thing I did not really like was having to download an app on my phone for the set up and warranty. I do not like it when companies or manufactures think it is okay to make it easy on them, and cause me a space issue.

This product works great. I would highly recommend it. We nought it so that we don’t have to pay Verizon for renting their modem / router! This is a great item to have and avoid having to pay Verizon for modem/ router rental fees!

Good product but a little tricking setting it up but got it done

It worked with Xfinity (we returned the rental modem). As expected it took a phone call and a good amount of time on that call to get it all set up, but once we did, it worked fine. We did return it though, because while we were switching to this modem, Xfinity made an offer for an upgrade and a free modem for less than we've been paying. Go figure. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

It is an definite update to my old router. It does have a slight tendency to lose connection.

I purchased this modem router combo to replace a 7 year old system. Setup was easy using the app which allowed me to connect with Cox directly to complete. Connecting devices was simple. Those are the pros of this device. As soon as I started using a computer I could tell the internet was slower in responding than my old system which downloaded at less than half the speed this one does. I did a speed test on this one and it downloaded around 500 MPS which is what my internet plan delivers. But somehow my old system operated faster while only downloading 175 MPS. During the next 2 weeks I had to reboot it twice due to a loss in internet service. There would also be short periods of time when there would be no service. This happened several times. My Ring alarm system would also lose connection once a day. I finally returned it and bought the same brand as my previous system and, so far, it works much better than this Arris model. I would not recommend this Arris model.
