Bought this to replace a very expensive Netgear WIFI6 that I had just returned because it performed terribly and the connection kept dropping. This Arris is fantastic, good speed and a reliable connection. Plus setup was fairly straightforward.

Great while it was working; Lasted 26-27 months, no support available w/o paying from Arris. Did not get Best Buy extended warranty. Will next time.

This product has been worth the money. I would recommend not using the app for set up though because the app truly isn’t up to par yet. Once I called customer service though I was up in running in a relatively good time!!

    Works but could be better

The strength of 5G it’s not enough… could be called the weak of 5G, the 2.4G works better but you as me maybe are looking for 5G around your house… the blue light ON in front it’s really high, could be used as a beacon, that is why just 3 stars… works but could be better! obviously when you pay $200 and more.

After a year of dealing with this router i think it is time for a change. I WFH and in the middle of the day I keep losing connectivity and I have to switch bands. If you have high speed internet this is not the router for you. You have to reset twice a day. The app is trash as well, it does not provide you with any functionality or control.

I had high hopes for this. It had good reviews. I pay for 1+ gig service and was getting 600-800 on my 3 year old DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I get the same speed now and the built in wifi is horrible. I have a weak signal in the next room when I had no issues with my 3 year old router. I am planning on returning it and go back to my old setup. Plus the management interface is not nearly as robust as other brands.

I thought $299 was too much so I checked Amazon and sure enough, I bought this exact same model on Amazon for $186!!

Is it a stable wifi? No.

It took 3 hours to install because none of the user documentation from QR code matches the as built device But the drawback is that it lost wifi every day, 3 days in a row. Netflix stopped half wathru an episode, displaying a black box for the program--then black boxes for all programs, then no Prime Video. I recieved 9 notifications that communication was down for my thermostat, my LG connected devices. Frustrating to reset and reenter login and re-pair 5 devices all 3 days. Going back to old modem/router, no problems. I'm wondering if Xfinity suppresses connection because my 8 year old Netgear router works just fine.

Worst experience ever. The surfboard app that you have to install is junk. Tried calling for support. Supoort closed. Keeps saying cant connect to wifi, but it is connected. Installed 5 g cant install the 2.4, so half my items that need 2.4 arent working now. Unable to access the modem to manage. Wasted too much time on this. Will go back to Netgear.
