Easy to setup and monitor activity. Updating can be done on your phone and not just turn the power off, wait 10 minutes, & turn it back on.
Works fast and little hassle. Requires smartphone.

The product works great and the modem router combo is good value. Setting up with provider, Xfinity, was very easy. The smartphone app is needed to set up the device. I was able to do so and rename my network and password, but the app has technical issues that doesn’t allow some of its features to work. Its okay as the device otherwise functions great!

Easy set up and great technical support! Works great and doesn’t drop out. I used technical support because it failed a software update and they forced it remotely.

Over the yrars we have purchased our Routers and Modems rather than lease from our provider. We purchase a few steps up which means we aren't replacing these as often as the lease items which saves a dollar or 2. What I like is the all in one feature. It saves room on the desk. The item is stylish. The challenge with having your own items is the hours, and yes I do mean hours it takes to get the internet provider an the manufacturer to synch the item. It did take the better part of 2 days of phone calls to get this sucker up and running. If not for that I would have given it 5 stars.

I've had this Arris Surfboard for a little over a month now. It has worked fine after the initial setup. If you are a Cox customer wanting to purchase this item, just know that you will have to call a Cox rep to complete the setup. This is not plug and play for Cox customers.
