Constantly drops 2.4 band that some of my devices use. I have to reboot them and/or the modem to get it to work again. Never had that problem before with my old netgear. Going to return this and get something else.

I purchased this April 30th. Worked great for two weeks. Since then it fails/drops every 45 minutes. Had the ISP out, they changed out all the hardware from the pole to the house - still drops every 45 minutes. I use Teams and Zoom for work, so this is 100% unacceptable. Best Buy states there is only a 2 week return period. Guess I'm out $350 since I've been trying for 4 weeks to get it working.

Absolute piece of garbage. Took Xfinity an hour and a half to get it to connect to my home. When it finally connected, I had lost 250mbps of download and nearly all of the upload- only 5mbps speed. Even had WIFI off because my netwrok uses 4 access points. Arris tries to say its a feed issue, but Xfinity tech was here and tested EVERYTHING! Strongly recommend AGAINST. I was only replacing a perfectly functional Xfinity unit to save the rental fee. Unit is being returned and replaced with a Nighthawk. So much for saving a few bucks.

For starters, the modem would not port forward when i used it . It automatically went to the modem page which is terrible so basically made the modem settings accessible to the intern3out of the box and there was no way to change it. The http modem page was also slow and not alot of options. I host websites amd dialers and none of this was possible with this modem. Bought a new netgear and easy set up no problems all port forwarding worked instantly. Not sure my arris was a defect but not good first impression.

Oh wow, used to think this was an awesome product. Now 8 months later it is no longer compatible with Comcast Xfinity.
Was fine until Xfinity did "upgrades" in my area. Now frequently disconnects from the internet and speed is slower than my plan.
Bunch of posts on line with each company blaming each other. Bottom line is I spent $329 for a modem router that lasted 9 months.

Bought this item to upgrade older modem to docsis 3.1 for faster speeds. Technician called to solve slow internet speeds. He did a test on this modem and it came back at .1 Mbps download, 0 on upload. Too late to return. Best buys return policy requires you to pay for membership to get a longer return. Another reason not to shop here.

Got this to replace my Netgear C7000, We saw no signal improvement and it never got the 400mbps wile wired. Called arris customer service, very lame. The mobile app is a disaster , got a second unit, same result. Not recommended ...
