After 1 year this thing is giving me issues. Disconnects, crashing, signal strenght is abysmal.

Dont do it. I read the reviews and said to myself it can't be that bad. So i bought one. An hour after setup it rebooted itself. On day 3 it lost wifi signal for a while. On day 6 it lost the wifi configs. After several reboots it would not even let me reconfigure the wifi. I took it back to the store the next day. Trying a Motorola hopefully it will be better. I work from home and i need my internet to work as my livelihood depends on it. Arris you let me down badly.

After a very easy setup, this device has started randomly dropping internet connection while wired. After trying known working cables, contacting my ISP, and finally contacting ARRIS they suggested it was a defective unit.

Had the modem for 3 days, each day it disconnected multiple times needing to be reset by Cox. Last time Cox was not able to reset and the modem was returned.

This piece of garbage constantly drops connection. I needed to buy a new router just to get speeds above 50gbps. However this absolutely gem can’t even manage to be a decent modem. The connection drops consistently making Zoom calls embarrassing. Save your money on this one.

This unit failed, was factory replaced, and continued to drop wi-fi. Tech support when the original unit was good, but when the replacement unit became unstable, all that tech support could tell me was to plug into a different outlet. I reluctantly went back to an Xfinity unit and have had fast, reliable service ever since.

Im having problems with the unit staying connected and the wifi is terribly slow. I've had comcast out to test their system. I found out its a common issue that's related to the firmware. I would recommend looking for a different modem/router. Arris is pushing blame on the isp.

After working OK for 3 months, the device's 2.4Ghz broadcast signal became defective. Contacted Arris for troubleshooting. Troubleshooting worked for a few days, but it's 2.4Ghz signal became defective again. Contacted Arris for replacement, staying hopeful, that this issue is only unique to current device in possession and not replacement.

Was difficult to set up. It always appears to be contacted but things in our house keep losing the signal. I can sit right next to it with my phone and I will only have 2 bars. For the price we paid it is terrible

I bought this in April 2022 and today, for no reason it decided to break down. For a $350 gadget, you would expect much longer longevity. It worked well for a year. But of course, It is now May 2023 and my warranty just ran out by a month. I would stay away from this product.

Hard pass on this modem. I've had this modem since January and about 3 months ago, the internet started to go offline at the same time everyday. I tried a host of things to resolve the issue but nothing worked. The modem works fine when it's working normally but I have to power cycle it everyday when it goes out.

My problem with this product was that it was dropping connections constantly, either from the internet during Teams calls and VPN sessions, or from my networked HDHomeRun tuners to my media server or FireSticks. Because the network router on this device was unreliable, I could not test the speed of the modem. Turned it back in after loosing a day of productivity for me any my wife.

Absolutely awful. We have only had this device for 6 months and we have had to physically reboot it sometimes 10+ per day for the internet to work. It seems to be a firmware issue that Arris does not care to fix and it seems to be a widespread issue with other owners of this product.

Worst modem/Router. Nothing but connectivity issues and under promised speeds. My wife and I both work from home and absolutely must have a reliable connection, this router is not it. After 5 factory resets and reboots, My wife’s Ethernet connection is the only thing working. Returning to go back to Netgear products.

Very poor product. Performance and coverage was terrible with connection lost multiple times per day. I could not rely on for conference calls. I gave up and went back to Motorola brand which was the best decision ever.

Worst router ever. Continual problems. Needs to be reset weekly or more. I wish I bought the BB extended warranty to get this dealt with. Arris customer support is terrible!

I use prepaid internet services from XFINITY & although my husband logged into his account to double check compatibility, THIS MODEM DOES NOT WORK WITH PREAID SERVICES. I am of the opinion that the modem is probably pretty good but because of it’s incompatibility, I had to return it. Call your internet service provider BEFORE purchasing, no matter what their website states.
