Absolutely necessary to own your own modem

Plugged it in and it worked

I purchased this cable modem to be used in my new house. I have three separate networks in the house. One is my corporate network, one is the home network and the last is my lab network. The modem feeds into my Cisco Firewall and has worked without flaw even when the sheetrock person was filling the air with sheetrock dust. I am extremely satisfied.
