This is an amazing laptop! Amazing graphics and fast processing speed!

I expected more from it. Is not that fast wiffi get frozen wen i move to a diferent one an i have to restart it.

It looks cool. I even don't mind the almost 10 pounds of weight. My gripes are with the screen resolution compared to what is currently standard with most other manufacturers and with the surprising lack of RAM. I did plan on upgrading the chipset anyway so not a huge deal. What really kept me from dropping 4 stars on this unit was mainly the scavanger hunt I had to go through trying to locate updates for a laptop that was supposed to have all of yhe very latest sortware pre-installed as well as the lack of online ASUS support. I really can't speak to the geek squad either as they have repeatedly proven themselves to be without use.

So I was looking for a good gaming computer and I was looking and i stumble on this and I was just amazed how good it was over 300 fps on heavy games one thing that I didn't like is it came with a recorder and it's just not really that good gets 720 p it's not the full recorder but it's really good only thing that made me wonder if I should get it was the ram 8 gigs was kinda bad but it's still really good I recommend this laptop to any I other gamer out there looking for a gaming laptop

Really good machine for the money. Runs many of the more popular games on high with no lags. The fans are quite and it has to be pushed hard before it gets noticeably warm.

Pro: - 1080 HD screen (touch screen but seldom use it, seems responsive though) - Intelligent backlit keyboard (red) - when not in use for 1-2 min turns backlit off and on again on key or mouse movement - stays cool - Decent GPU for a laptop and the money. Can play all my games on ultra smoothly and at 60+ frames (Elite Dangerous/Horizons, LoL, Civ series, GW2) - I like the keyboard and how it feels - Nice looking laptop and sturdy - Fast boot times and the HD is fast (can add SSD) - Good colors - Sound is good for a laptop Cons: - too heavy to carry around a lot (8+ lbs) - not easy to clean from fingerprints etc.

Can't beat the specs for the price. Please note I got this item on sale. Will play most games at med-high settings has great cooling. I recommend to upgrade the hard drive to soild state to get better performance.

A very good computer for gaming but not what you would want to use for 3d rendering and things of that nature. Ram is hard to set up and the bios is old. Great macro keys and display

I purchased this after returning my Lenovo. It runs great. The I7 Processer, huge hd and the dedicated graphics card definitely make it worth the money. I can game and complete my Bachelors program on the same machine.

If you intend to carry this laptop in your backpack a lot then get ready for a work out because it's heavy. Besides that I knew once I started using it that it was the one for me. It's really great for gaming. 1080p on a 17.3 laptop looks amazing!

Purchased this laptop as a gift for my brother who just graduated from the Army. He's said it works great for gaming and for his classwork at AIT. The webcam is also great according to my mom. All in all, a good buy.

Perhaps this gaming laptop isn't kin to a behemoth awaiting the summons to rise from the depths, destroying any puny mortal without a petrifying agent. But if you're looking for an affordable laptop, with decent graphics to handle high fps and a nice CPU to boot, then looky here. The Nvidia 965GTX has plowed through my games straight out of the box. The proprietary gaming software allows for multiple profiles to quickly switch between game settings. Paired with the i7-4720, I should be in good shape for a few years before needing to upgrade. 8GB of RAM is a bit light, but easily swapped out. Moreover, I dragged this beast around Colorado for a week in a tiny Timbuk2, with a couple of scary drops and it asked for more. All in all, if you're in the market for for a nice gaming experience, but don't have $3,000 to plop down on a rig, you should consider this laptop.

It is very fast booting up. Has many apps that make using it very easy. I also like the fact that I can upgrade it without buying a new system.

I bought this computer for my 11-year-old son who loves to play Minecraft and Roblox and make YouTube videos. He LOVES it! We haven't used it for any other games, but for his usage, it is excellent.

I've always had hp computers so this is a little challenging and very different to use. I bought this computer because it was the best gaming computer Best Buy stocked..Grandchildren love to play games.

I've been through a few computers but this one is one of the most elite laptops I've bought. From the large screen to the graphics and speed this computer has everything. Currently running this one off 6 monitors and it's just as good as a desktop.

This laptop was pretty fast on its own, but I added a SSD drive for the OS. It's a monster now. The only problem I had so far was getting used to windows 10. I've been using Windows 7 for a while. I still like 7, but 10 seems to be okay for now.

This is a very affordable laptop that works great and is VR ready It doesn't get to hot and plays most games on ultra settings Its a great and if your looking for a VR ready laptop I'd recommend this one
