    I really tried to give this laptop a chance. Tried 3 different ones!!. 1. First one I tried was an open box one. It was working fine, but when I tried to register it for the warranty, I wasn't able to because the person who returned it had registered. I tried talking with ASUS to provide a receipt and at least get a partial warranty, but no luck. 2. I bought a new one then. I was very happy with it since it has an open slot for RAM and Storage expansion, so I went ahead and did that. I had no issues with the RAM, but I had issues with the additional storage not always appearing after turning the computer on. Or sometimes disappearing after. I was able to figure out that the drive was only disappearing whenever the laptop was plugged in to the charger. I tried a different NVME drive to make sure that it wasn't defective, but had the same issues. I checked the BIOS to make sure the drive was being recognized (it was) and I initialized the drive manually as well. 3. I returned that one and got a another one (New). This time, I'm still having the same results with the Nvme drive, and on this one, the dedicated graphics card is not recognized. I checked the BIOS and could see that it recognized the hardware, but was the OS loaded, nothing. Couldn't even open nvidia's control panel because it did not recognize that the hardware was installed.

    Learn from my mistakes, don't waste your money

    Genuinely, this machine has been the most expensive paperweight i've ever owned. Literally a 5yo asus laptop ran the sims 4 better than this hunk of junk. It says its 16gb ram but its being SUCKED UP by all the bloatware. I have not been able to play any games requiring more than 2gbs of ram. I reformatted it twice. I have cried, i have screamed, i have bought no end of things that the internet says will help, now im getting a ram stick for this thing. I tell you here and now, if i go through the money and the time to add this ram stick and it doesnt make this thing usable I will be getting a replacement. This is insane.

    Master of Micro Lags, terrible CPU

    this is a terrible laptop, I believe the CPU is terrible because I am experiencing micro lags no matter what I do, during games, during browsing, even with start bar. Do not buy this product I am warning you. There is a big problem. I couldn't return it because I am in Navy A school and I did everything to prevent this micro lags such as clean windows install, software updates, I added 32G extra ram, added 2 tb nvme and still it is driving me crazy. I should ve gone for other brand of CPU.

    Save your money the fan noise is so annoying even headphones will not save you I would recommend the tuf f15 same performance better fance and ram is upgradable

    Laptop died just after less than 2 months of normal use. Sent it to ASUS for troubleshooting and its been sitting with them for past 3 weeks waiting for a replacement part. Latest status update says part wont be available until Oct 20th Do not waste your money on this laptop

    "Lemon" model that no one will service

    2 months in and it has major malfunctions. Black screen. Unresponsive. Battery issues. Apparently it is a known defunct model that Geek Squad refuses to service it.

    Hands down the worst, mind blowlingly awful out of the box experience for ANY product I have EVER purchased in my entire life. The LootCrate software that comes with the device is so unbelievably bad Im honestly shocked. ASUS needs to fix this. I will be returning this.

It just means updates are being installed and applied in the System Registry. This issue typically goes away after all updates(WIndows, drivers, Armoury Crate application) are installed completely.     Anyone else buy this on sale around september 2024 and end up paying full price? I didnt notice until november. Computer is fine.

    Keyboard Failed right after warranty exp

    I'll never be buying another Asus product. My gaming laptop cost $1400 on sale. It was a decent gaming experience for a laptop but I'm very upset that my keyboard died after 14 months of very light use. In fact I didn't even play much after the first 4 months. Of course the warranty expired at 1 year so now I'm stuck with the bill. I had seen similar complaints but thought those must be rare occurrences. I refused to pay an additional $200 to extend the warranty for a year at the time I purchased it. Now I can pay best buy or Asus to repair it for at least that much. No laptop should have issues that soon from light use. My HP laptops have each lasted 8+ years. Do yourself a favor and look for another brand.
