I recently purched this router to upgrade from the default modem the company around here installs. The reach it has is excellent and the speeds are great. It also has built in security and vpns! I would highly suggest this to anyone who is looking for a reasonable upgrade!

Easy to set up, stable connection. Has auto switching between 2.4 to 5 depending on range. The control from the gateways website is very easy and useable. It’s simple and it just works. I had a netgear r8000 nighthawk that wouldn’t cooperate with a gaming website. WiFi 6 seems pretty cool once I start to integrate WiFi 6 capable appliances.

Recently bought it and it works great in my house.

I bought this router because it was going to have to sit in plain sight in my living room and wanted something that looked cool rathen than the standard box. I also needed a router that worked great with Home Assistant integrations. This checked both boxes. It turned out to have a crazy number of features compaired to my ISP’s router combo which I love.

Had a Netgear AC1750 and it was the worst piece of garbage that was slightly better than what I replaced for use for work from home. Finally gave in a bought this ASUS router and everything is night in day. Stability, design, app, speed…. All better. Do I love this router so much or am I just comparing to my hate of the dumpster fire that is Netgear.

Great performance. not to bad of a set-up. Had to call ASUS and change to the stock matrix for it to work properly with my system. The ASUS tech walked me through it easy enough step by step.... Only issue is sometimes my microwave causes the streaming service of the TV to lag/buffer but never effect gamming.

I got this router after returning a new Netgear router that refused to sustain a WIFI broadcast for more than 30 minuets before completely crashing. The setup on this router was shockingly easy to do. I told the family that the WI FI was going down for at least a few hours to set the new router up. This wonderful little spaceship looking router was up and running in 15 minutes. My son has already commented on the much faster downloads speeds on his XBOX and he is on the other side of our house from where the router is located. The streaming for our 4K smart TV is very stable and and everything loads up much faster now. The biggest surprise is the ease of using the features like monitoring how much data each device is using. Setting up the web filtering for my children is very simple with the GUI interface that ASUS put on this router. All in all so far I am very happy with this new router, it easily beats out other brand routers that cost two or three times as much. Thank you ASUS for putting out this awesome winner.
