Non-techie, non-gamer review: We've had this router a few weeks now, and it's been terrific. It has great range and seems to loose very little speed compared to our hardwired computer and the devices using wi-fi. Setup was really easy. The dedicated gaming port (we're using it for streaming instead) is really fast. There are three other ports (is this the right word for "plug in a device"? port? non-techie/non-gamer, remember...) for other devices or systems. We get reliable, strong wi-fi through multiple walls, our entire household and outside areas.

We love the router. It works great for us. We use it in our Motorhome.

Other than being a bit of a space hog, it functions well and is easy to setup and manage through my mobile or laptop. Recommend.

It works great. It covers my entire house all the way to the curb outside my house.

For me, this router works great. I had to replace a faulty router that wouldn't pass the 200 Mpbs ethernet upgrade speed from the ISP. I started with a lower cost Linksys AX router, which provided the ethernet and WiFi speed, but it didn't have the coverage in the more remote areas of my house, like the outdoor deck and the patio. I returned and replaced it with this ASUS unit (at higher cost), but the performance is very good. Both the Linksys and the ASUS had very easy installation. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great! Plugged in and works fast keeps me connected while watching our steaming services. Would recommend product to others.

I've had this router for a couple of months now. I live in a rectangular house with my computer and router in one end. My wife needs wifi in the other end of the house. Our previous router, even with an extender, was weak by the time it reached the other end of the house. This one works great even without an extender.

Amazing router, brought my speeds up by almost 400 mbps allowing my to play and install any games I want to within 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Great at pretty much everything, and pretty easy to set up. Not including great wireless performance for VR ad PC gaming.

The app makes it look like you are controlling a space ship, but tbh it was easy to set up and you have a lot of control.

This thing is a beast, super strong signals and amazing features that can be easily found in the APP.

A very good replacment for the older model we had. this unit has expanded my range to get very good signal throughout my yard from the middle of my home. The programming was very simple and app help greatly.

Did everything I needed, I got a second one and was able to mirror it to the first and now my game streaming is smooth and seemless

Easy enough to set up. However, I found that this particular Router has a known issue with Sonos. I am unable to install more than one Sonos device on the same network from this router.

Been using this for a year now and it exceeded the exlextation! Connects everything in my house with ease and at a huge distance too!

AX5400 is easy to setup, use, and maintain. What can you say but it another ASUS winner. Awesome coverage, speed, and streaming. We have a large house and have no issues w/ connectivity inside or out side (including into neighbors yard and streets). Very secure no unauthorized access due to great ASUS security tools. All TV sets throughout house using Firestick. No streaming or viewing issues. 5 stars and well deserved!!!!!
