I struggled with a netgear nighthawk r8000 on and off for a few years. Finally got fed up and bought a new router. This ASUS router was easy to set up and worked right away. I suddenly saw the download speeds my ISP advertised...never got close with my old one. The range is pretty good. About a 30% drop off going from my wiring closet to the farthest point away in my house (up a floor and about 40 feet of horizontal distance).

have had asus ac1900 router for the past 5 years and has served me good been reading on the ax routers and came across this one and i pulled the trigger if u have a ac router u need to upgrade the ax wifi 6 is is so much better and faster and more reliable and transfers so much more to one device giving u a more reliable and stable signal and less packet drop connection. this router is feature set its a straight winner for the money its strong and has so much to offer u wont regret this purchase good job asus

I moved to this from Linksys. I had used Linksys for years and really liked it. In fact when I was looking for a new router I looked at Linksys first. I went with ASUS because of the positive reviews I had read and the price was better than Linksys. I've been happy with this router, haven't had any issue with it. The one thing, I think the user interface on the app could be easier to use. It's cumbersome finding what I'm looking for. Once I find it, I can easily go back to it. It's a great router I highly recommend it. Oh and siet up was super easy too.
