ASUS is way ahead of the game industry with this beast of a gaming monitor. The ASUS TUF 27” IPS WLED FHD VG279 gaming monitor is the most impressive gaming computer monitor I have had the pleasure to game with. Overclocking with a savvy 280 Hz rapid refresh rate, 1 millisecond grey-to-grey response time, 1920 x 1080 FHD, NVIDIA G-Sync and shadow boost technology, which makes a huge difference in low-light situations, gaming in my house has never looked so crystal clear, colorful, and bright. The monitor was simple to plug-and-play into my computer’s HDMI port and comes with the power cable, HDMI cable and DisplayPort cable. The monitor has two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input, headphone jack and standard USB. You can adjust the height of the monitor by sliding it up and down on the stand and rotate the monitor 90 degrees for a vertical view. The monitor with stand weighs a little over 12 pounds. I like the detail ASUS put on the back of the monitor; it gives it some gaming personality you do not see in other manufacturers. The bezel on the front of the monitor is slim and barely noticeable when you’re entrenched in gaming on the large 27” diagonal horizontal screen. I have played several games on the monitor, as well as doing standard internet browsing, and the display looks incredible. It is very bright and has very dark blacks which is great for gaming. The refresh rate is so fast I could not see any drag or lag in the screen. I took a picture with it next to my newer gaming laptop and you can see the difference between the two monitors, especially when looking at it from the side. Overall, I do not know what else you can ask for in a gaming monitor and would recommend this monitor to anyone with this budget set aside for a high-performance monitor. Now we just have to wait for more availability of games, processors and graphics cards to be as far advanced as this monitor to catch up to this fast of refresh rate.

I bought this ASUS -TUF 27" monitor to replace an older, but still working ASUS 23" monitor. (The wife now has it and loves it!) I couldn't be happier I did! When first turned it on, it was much clearer than my older monitor and boy was it bright! After a few minor setting tweaks this monitor is AWESOME !! I love it! The refresh rate is supper fast with the display port connected to my PC. (I have an Nvidia RTX3050 video card) No flicker at all! Another neat thing is, I have it hooked up to three P.C.'s and it auto select's the correct one no fuss! My only gripe is the adjustment button's location. They're on the back side of the monitor, lower right-hand corner, and they're a little hard to reach for me. Not much of a ding. I highly recommend this ASUS -TUF 27" monitor for the hard core gamer or for just everyday use.

This is by far the best monitor on the market, not just for this price range, but easily until you get to the $900+ price range. There is simply no monitor that can compete with this beast for the price. I sold my Samsung g9 49 inch 240hz monitor for this... yes, and I do not regret it. The color accuracy is better than most 240hz monitors I've used in the $900+ range, surprisingly. The image quality is almost perfect, but it's completely to be expected for 1920x1080 and the price the monitor sits at. I still give the picture quality a 9/10 (I would give the samsung g9 a 6/10). 280hz is the overclock on this guy (in the monitor settings), I have had zero issues with it, and it looks fantastic when playing FPS games. With a 1ms display to boot. Asus has set huge expectations for monitor making companies, completely breaking the mold with with one of the best monitors on the market at an price entry point that almost anyone can get into. I would give this monitor a 5/5, and a value a 6/5... there is literally nothing that can beat it for the price on the market right now.

That’s an amazing monitor, great quality, great refresh-rate, as for gamer. It worked perfectly fine for RDR2, GTA V, Outlast 1/2/trials, Minecraft, Martha is Dead, Remnant 2, Helldivers 2 and many more!

It's a fine monitor, but didn't have the best experience with Best Buy. Purchased one from a BB about 1 hour away. I get back home, hook it up, and there is a cluster of dead pixels right near the center of the screen. The return process was absolutely humiliating. The tech was nice. She had to take it out of the box, check the serials (which is understandable), but then hook the dang thing up and examine the monitor... It took forever. People behind me in line irritated as ever. Ridiculous. They didn't have any more in stock, so I had one shipped from another BB. This one has a cluster of dead pixels as well... They are near the outter edge of the screen, but it's still annoying considering the price of this thing.... And I wasn't going to deal with BBs return hassle again. It's probably the best gaming monitor on the market if you have a mid-grade / 1080p rig. However, out of all the monitors I've ever owned, the only dead pixels I've experienced was with this monitor... Twice.

Surprised my husband with this screen and he loves it! You can change the height as well which is very nice considering my husband is on the taller side. Very nice and at good price!

Best bang for buck by far. Great stats super solid. You could spend way more for little gain and a little less for a for a big tier drop 5/5 going to buy another one for a YouTube/ discord monitor
