    Disappointed with Quality and Reliability

    I’m extremely disappointed with the Avalon water dispenser. Our first unit didn’t even last a year before malfunctioning, and the replacement, which we received on Monday, February 3rd, started leaking just two days later. We unplugged it immediately to stop the leak, and when we tried turning it back on the next morning, only the light was working. The motor and water dispensing system were completely unresponsive. It’s frustrating to deal with such poor quality and reliability, especially considering the inconvenience of replacing a water dispenser twice in such a short span of time. At this point, I’m considering switching back to Primo. I expected much better from Avalon and can’t recommend this product based on my experience. I do however, like their customer service as they have been very responsive via email. But overall the actual product is very disappointing.

    Order super delayed. I have left arm and hand disability and I struggle to open the box just to find out it was wrong item. I immediately started a conversation with a Best Buy support and still no help. Now I have to spend time and gas to return item to a nearby UPS or Best Buy. Very disappointed and very frustrating.

    I had arranged for the wrong item and wanted to cancel the order immediately, but the cancel button did not work. Of course I contacted the call center via chat, but since the delivery was in progress, I ended up contacting the call center three times. Despite this, the goods were still delivered. I ended up having to take the delivered items to the store.

    Read the manual and noticing that the broken arrived broken upon following initial cleaning instructions. There were broken plastic pieces inside the cleaning bowl. We have children and consider this to be very hazardous. Extremely disappointed.

    Do not recommend this machine. The buttons to dispense water have constant issues. The water dispenses extremely slow. The cold water button completely stopped working very early on leaving only the cool (room temp) button and the hot as options. But then all the buttons completely stopped working. I reached out to the company for assistance as they have a sticker with their phone number on the side, but the phone number does not go through and directs us online. But the website was also not helpful and only option was to email them. They did respond to the email which is the only good thing they did. They informed me this was a known issue and the issue is that the temperature gauge doesnt regulate properly and if i unplugged the machine for 72 hours it would fix it. I did as instructed and the machine worked for one week before it stopped once again, and now completely does not work. Customer service said the only option left is to replace it completely and offered me 15% off regular price. I have had this machine for LESS THAN 2 YEARS. My previous water dispenser lasted nearly a decade. Will not be purchasing from them again and do not recommend.

    Defective unit with poorer customer service

    Avoid at all costs. Bought this model two years ago and started experiencing leaking issues after a year and a half. Avalon is clearly aware of this issue as they diagnosed and provided a temp fix very quickly. Unfortunately the cold tank lid wont stay sealed no matter what I do, making the unit unusable. The customer service department acknowledges this defect, however won't do anything to remedy it since the 1-year warranty expired. I really wanted to like this cooler but knowingly selling a defective product doesn't sit right with me. Do you homework and buy Primo instead

    I purchased this unit and after less than 2 years the cold water stopped dispensing. I reached out to the manufacturer and after trouble shooting they sent me this "Since the issue with your unit is not correctable, we would suggest a replacement unit as there would not be any further troubleshooting or replacement parts to resolve this. After looking at your order information, we were able to see that your 1-year manufacturer warranty expired. Without having purchased any extended warranties or protection plans, our options become very limited moving forward. However, we would like to provide you with 15% off a new unit." I will avoid this product and as I said to the manufacturer, I will be avoiding their brand all together

    Had it for a year and started to notice a poor taste in the water. Not sure why but it is definitely not the Poland Spring water. The self cleaning mode did not help whatsoever. I did a simple taste taste of the water without putting it through the dispenser and it is not the water. I have since purchased a Waterdrop 15UB-UF 0.01 μm Ultra Filtration Under Sink Water Filter and have no regrets. I am now donating this dispenser,

    Disappointed that twice they sent me the wrong one cooler. But they were very nice at helping me return the items. I wanted the black stainless steel model and they sent me black. They need to change the color and model online, they show the black stainless steel and say its black stainless steel but it's not! Super disappointed.

    Disappointed with the purchase. I should have purchase a Brio. We’ve Only had it for 3 months the equipment started getting hot and cold water is lukewarm. Manufacturer provides an email as a way to contact them.

    This particular bottom loading water dispenser stinks because you can smell the stale water deposit. Looks like new but the package is one way to trick consumers that it’s “new” as newly package. Shame on you guys not a “best buy” . Let this be a karma to your company.

    Don't Order if you want black stainless

    Best Buy shipped us the black/ grey cooler twice rather than the black/black stainless. No one looks at the item number when shipping EVEN though they have VERY differentitem numbers. Very disappointing!!

    Looks good and works good for like a few months then just shut down and i have done research and there is alot pf buyers having trouble save ure money get a diffrent brand it freezes and wont dispense water pretty expensive for it only to work afew months
