    I purchased this unit, a3blozonewtrclr, after researching the various self cleaning models and opted to go with the ozone cleaning over UV. I received the item in decent condition, it has a small dent in the top, but was disappointed at the use of plastic. It doesn’t feel very sturdy or durable. When reading the manual I discovered that the unit i was sent uses UV and not ozone despite what i ordered. I called the 800 # and was told by a recording that i had to use the website chat or write an email for any assistance. No live person. I did the chat and was informed they switched to UV recently siting its more efficient, this also felt very generic and was not a two-way conversation. I feel i was duped. Nowhere does the A3 list UV sterilization, and all models still state the self cleaning ozone feature on the Amazon site, Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy……It leaves me very leary of the product and the company’s integrity. On the up side, it is attractive, quiet, and the water tastes just fine.

    Very disappointed with the Avalon A3 Bottom-Loading Cooler. I purchased it in 2023 and it never really worked right since I owned it. The Room Temp button at times wouldn't work. I contacted Customer Service and they had me pull the top off and do some "fixing" and then it worked for a while. The Empty Bottle notice would sometimes work, sometimes not. Here we are two years and a couple of months later and no water is dispensing at all. I did my due diligence and cleaned it as suggested in the manual. I'm done. I'm now looking for another cooler and another brand.

    Some of the reviews were right. They will send you the wrong color model. I was able to return it without issues (reason for the 2 stars); however they could not guarantee the same thing wouldnt happen again if i tried to reorder. This was not an in-store item so returns can be a hassle; especially an item of that size. I didnt want to take a chance and go thru this again so decided not to try and re-purchase. Its a shame too cause BB was the only retailer offering the Black stainless steel color.

    Loved this right up until it broke about 2 months after the year warranty ran out. So I guess it's great if you want to buy a new one every year or so. But for me, I'm just not that interested in spending $300 every year and change.

    Isn't stainless steel and the picture doesn't match the actual product the product is nice but can be loud

    It stopped working at the two-year mark. When we first noticed it was going bad. The water was dispensing with a foul smell (even after using the self-clean), and we called the customer service number but couldn't reach anyone! We emailed them several times and received no response.
