    This hub almost does what I expected. It would not support two monitors using the USB-c ports. When I purchased I asked the Best Buy sales staff it would support two monitors using the USB-c ports and was told yes.

    I suppose tech is so dang complicated these days you just can't expect anything to just workk everywhere. This is a decent little hub that will add 3 ports to your existing setup (4 out - 1 in = 3), but it doesn't support external displays, so you'd better have a spare port on your base machine. I am not aware of any simple usb-C hubs that just work with anything, but this was a decent price to connect my other peripherals and disks. They really should note prominently on the box that this doesn't work with external displays, though. It sucks for customer, manufacturer, and retailer to have to deal with returns because of missing info.

    I was going to be on a podcast, but I needed to plug power, mic, and external camera into a MacBook Air with only 2 USB-C ports. This saved the day. Ran power into one Mac port and this Belkin in the other, into which I plugged the external mic and camera. Worked great. I might add this was also a refurbished product, and it still worked great.

    I was looking for a adapter that could charge my computer and use other devices at the same time. This was able to use 2 or more devices or charge, but it could not do both at the same time.
