The Insignia one on this site does not, it's also half the cost. Other than price there's nothing to tell them apart... But the higher price point shows here in quality. I've tried multiple adapters, Samsung, Insignia, Anker... But -only- with Belkin did my phone recognize my HORI Fightpad and my MadCatz TE stick. Worth the investment to ease frustrating purchases. The USB-C world is still a little renegade, and it's hard to trust manufacturers these days to cover all the bases, even niche ones like mine. Belkin came through this time. Good work.

The adapter has been reliable since I purchased it a number of months ago, and is well constructed so that it appears it is not vulnerable to damage from the normal bending and pulling of the cable that occurs when you plug the cable in or out.

It is reasonably priced, durable and gets the job done if you own a Mac. I've been thinking of picking up another one since my laptop has 4 USB-C outlets in this way I can transfer data between a flash drive to an external hard drive.
