Good discounts, but pricey if you dont use it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't really use totaltech much. I like the price savings, but I don't like the initial cost. I only bought it because I was buying a $2000 refrigerator. Well, long story short and BB had a glitch and delayed my order for months before cancelling it. The reason it gets 5 stars is because BB cancelled and refunded the purchase of totaltech because of this error; I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't have such a huge purchase. I've never utilized the other features, such as warranty work or shipping.

Totaltech is a must have for every household!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I swear by the totaltech membership. I buy all of my electronics from Best Buy because I know I’m fully covered. They have ALWAYS replaced any of my products that have been damaged. I love the fact that I can invest in something and have no worries that I have to jump through hoops if something unfortunate happens. I have 3 little ones so things happen sometimes and all I have to do is call them and they either fix or replace the item. They are also quick about taking care of it. Totaltech is a must for every household. Other benefits I have received are special discounts and same day or next day free delivery. Buy your products with the ease of mind that you are always covered!

Absolutely Worth The Price!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is GREAT as the same annual price gets you civerage for ALL devices (I'm sure there are some exceptions in the fine print) that your purchase after/during the purchase of the Total Tech. I only has it refunded because the employee put my $1,600ish purchase on my work account, and I left that company, so that meant the THOUSANDS of dollars of tech, like my 75" TV, surround sound reciever, etc., that i purchased through my personal account couldnt be covered and the gentleman i apoke with said it couldnt be transferred to the correct email/account. However, I will ABSOLUTELY bepurchasing this again the next time I by tech.. probably once or twice in the next mo th. Haha.

Hell of a service and worth its price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This membership generally costs $200 a year. But this membership payed for itself on my first purchase. I waited for a product to drop in price when it hit on the 'daily deals'. After applying the 2-year bb coverage, the total purchase price was $400 after tax. When joining the Total Tech membership during checkout, the price of the product actually dropped over $110 dollars and also included the 2-year coverage (so long as I'm a total tech member for that span). The cost after purchase, with joining total tech, was just a little over $400. Moving forward I get the benefits of total tech membership prices, services and other features for spending money I was already going to spend. I'm so happy

Geeks, slow down searching settings!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value. Have used it several times to resolve issues with my personal PC. Only one time we're the Geeks unable to solve a problem, then I discovered the page resolution was still set on the wrong setting!

Best Buy Total--A No Brainer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have expensive equipment like I do, this "Best Buy Total Membership" insurance is a no brainer! Things happen, and I am not a tech guy by any means. Best Buy set up my entire audio/video system. Sony TV, Bowers & Wilkins Speakers, Blue Ray, Marantz receiver, Marantz CD Player, Sonos, and Rega 8 turntable. I purchased a majority of the electronics from Best Buy as well. I have had the "Best Buy Total"package for two years now. I have save almost $300 already....no brainer...right? You also get superior and fast service because you are a member. Highly recommended!

Do you want peace of mind?
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have you ever bought something expensive and instantly had the worry or gut wrenching anxiety of getting your new electronics in the car, will it fit? What do i do when i get it home? and now you have to set it up in one piece? This program gives you that cushion and piece of mind knowing you have help, they may not do the work for you. But you can give your belongings some insurance, are you in good hands? And no im not talking about the auto insurance people. Total tech is the best thing best buy has offered in a very long time. Give yourself that sigh of relief you need. The coverage, the extended timeframe for returns, the replacements. This subscription makes life easy.

Beware of Coverage Scam - Not Worth the Hassle!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Title: Beware of Coverage Scam - Not Worth the Hassle! Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I recently fell victim to what I can only describe as a coverage scam that left me frustrated and disappointed. The company in question claims to offer comprehensive coverage for electronic devices, promising peace of mind in case of malfunctions or breakages. However, my experience has been far from reassuring. The major flaw in this coverage scheme becomes evident when you realize that they don't believe in repairing or replacing individual components. Take the example of a television purchase – if the remote breaks, you're forced to replace the entire TV. It's an absurd and inconvenient policy that seems more like a gimmick to boost sales than a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Even more troubling is their approach to prebuilt PCs. The package supposedly includes a mouse, keyboard, Bluetooth antenna, and Wi-Fi receiver. However, if any of these components malfunction, the company's solution is shockingly simple – return everything. Yes, you read that right. Even if your hard drive is packed with irreplaceable photos, important downloads, games, and sensitive passwords, you're expected to ship the entire system back. This policy is not only inconvenient but poses a significant risk to your data security and privacy. To add insult to injury, the deductible for claims is exorbitantly high – four times more than what you would pay for insurance on a reputable platform like Amazon. It's clear that this coverage is less about protecting your investment and more about squeezing as much money as possible from unsuspecting customers. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for reliable coverage. There are plenty of reputable options available that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide fair and transparent policies. Don't be lured in by the promises of this coverage scam – it's a gimmick designed to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers.

Dealing with the distance from BestBuy was always a headache, but thanks to their free delivery, appliance installments, and hassle-free haul-away service, upgrading my home has become an absolute joy. The added 24-month product protection provides a comforting layer of security, and the exclusive member pricing is a wonderful bonus for my budget. The cherry on top is their 60-day return and exchange policy truly takes away any shopping worries. For those seeking a smooth, stress-free shopping experience and effortless home upgrades, Totaltech is the answer you've been waiting for!

Glad I got the old plan!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was just two days before they changed the Totaltech membership plan and I was bothered that I paid extra. However, it was then explained to me that the new one doesn't include shipping. I'm more than happy I paid a few dollars extra for the old plan. I think Best Buy will have a lot of unsatisfied customers trying to sell this plan only to find out you have to pay an additional $125 for shipping of A/C's and such.

Total Tech can definitly be worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprisingly worth it. I'm not usually a "buy the extra warranty kinda guy, but extending returns, extended price matches and services provided (like they mounted my new TV in a brick wall for free) have easily recovered my the cost of my membership and then some. Best Buy should create something for TT members that is prominently displayed showing people how much money they've saved with their membership. Keep in mind that I've purchased at least $5k worth of stuff, if all you are buying one TV in the next year and plan to put it on a cabinet, TT might not make a lot of sense, but if you spend $$$ at BB, get the membership.

Totaltech Support
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few bad starts on getting a data/program conversion from our old and new laptops. The manager oversaw the completion of the process and set-up a few of the programs we forgot to include in the original scope of work. We're very happy with the end results. There were a number of poor communications which resulted in an unnecessary trip to the store. Twice, the time was redeemed by lunch/dinner dates to fill the time while the staff worked on our laptops.

Geek Squad fixed my printer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Totaltech membership truly paid off recently. I changed the toner in my laser printer, and afterwards my computer refused to print anything. Apparently, the computer thought the printer was still not available. I called the Geek Squad, and the nice young man made my printer print! Yay!

Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was bummed when Best Buy announced this membership because I would no longer be a elite plus member. I always spent 3.5k per year to have those perks. But you get way more with Total Tech. 60 day returns, tech support etc. But the best part is I get deals on all kinds of item. I bought a Samsung Q900C that is normally $7,999 for under 5k. They had it for 3k off for a day just for Total tech members. I had my eye on last years model that was discounted and I ended up getting this years model for the same price! Now instead of having to spend 3k plus a year, I get better benefits for $200 per year and I basically get paid to have it!

What’s your thing, electronics?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This never quite saw so much of it’s use from me, however, I was convinced I’d give it a try during a GPU drop that was EXCLUSIVE to totaltech members. I believe if your niche is buying computer parts often, or you’re really into tech, I would look into it. I think the assurance with geek squad having your back with any of the hardware or anything is a massive deal on anything you might want that might express reliability concern down the future line. It’s a hefty price to pay up front, and if you find it isn’t your thing, they’ll refund you for it. I think the benefits are something else, and I think this just secures the idea that I can buy most, if not all of my tech from Best Buy.

Great investment, and agents r technical lifesaver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although this has significantly increased in cost (from $99 to $179 annually) it is totally worth it for me, they are my on site(at store) and online tech support, and it is embarrassing how often recently they've bailed me out, as I move from i-3 machine to i-7; and from Windows 7, 10 to 11; and Office 2013 to 2019, now 2024. Yikes

Totaltech membership is a great value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not initially thought membership was necessary; however, I am glad I made the investment. I've used it multiple times and it has worked to my advantage in providing discounts and immediate resolution to questions I've had about my computer/operating system. I've definitely recouped my investment ++. I would definitely suggest purchasing a Totaltech membership, especially if one may not have sufficient time/experience to resolve issues on one's own. It saves time, effort, and the possibility of mistakes. There are also additional perks like discounts and extended time to claim them that do not apply without Totaltech membership.
