Save yourself the time and money. I tried to like it. Has some great perks but the vacuum and suction are terrible. I vacuumed my entire house including three different types of carpet. One of my carpets is easy and pretty standard and it felt like it was doing a decent job, the other is shag and it was absolutely hopeless. It would not pick up a thing on shag carpet and actually pushed the dirt around and on to the hard wood flooring. I tried to vacuum off of the hard wood floor and it would not work. I decided to try it a few more times until I absolutely had it and returned it. When I vacuumed once with a Hoover Pet I was shocked at how much dirt was in the container. I called my wife and told her that after vacuuming the previous day with this, it had looked like we had not vacuumed in months. terrible, you might think your carpet is clean but if your like me and have allergies, do yourself a favor and try your neighbors vacuum and see how poorly this vacuum has left your carpets. it fails to pick up debris; the brush routinely stops working on carpet..unplug turn off reset (sometimes it works). It is top heavy flips over all the time when the xtension is being used. it propels debris all over the place. the hose clogs when the very narrow attachement is used. It rquires you to bend over to use it, I am SO done with this product. I bought it to replace an old Bissell Pet Eraser that I loved.. This product fails in all areas

Debris container gets clogged up at the top and dirt gets everywhere when trying to get it unclogged. It's because you cannot empty dirt container from the top. No access.
