This is trash. Night vision is the worst.

If your Blink doorbell's night vision isn't working, start by checking the basic settings in the Blink app and ensuring the area is dark enough. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try restarting your Blink system, and make sure the Blink app is up to date. The original one that I purchased online did not need a hub, but it was a faulty piece of equipment. Trying to get a refund and get my money back and they gave me a store credit card which I don’t wanna use.

We are sorry you have been misinformed and are not having a positive experience. This product does require a Sync Module, not a hub to utilize full features and make for an optimal experience. With the Sync Module, you can get alerts when motion is detected or someone presses Video Doorbell. Connect to existing doorbell wiring or pair with a Sync Module (sold separately) to engage live view and two-way audio on demand.
Without the Sync Module, you are unable to save live events and or use full features this doorbell offers. The device is not faulty, it just requires and additional piece that is sold separately due to bundle options offered where it comes in the box.

The video and sound are clear. The system is managed through the Blink Module via my cell phone. Two Echo Show 8s and a 5 provide HD quality video and sound. All this is supported by an ADT System. I live in suburbia.

To subscribe, it requires the device be linked to Amazon. Which isn’t so bad if you only have one device. I purchased two devices. The second for my mothers home. I cannot Add that device to my blink subscription to pay for the annual subscription. I also Cannot add a second device and pay for a second subscription. Video quality isn’t as good. And must press the door bell alarm for any changes.

I changed batteries and in worked until I reconnected it to the base and in worked for a few minutes then went off line again. This is me 3rd blink camera and it has caused the most difficulty.

Also, the wired portion doesn't power the doorbell, it just connects to the transformer for the chime. I'll be taking these units back asap.
