Great doorbell and accurate real time tracking and accuracy.

Setup and Installation Setup was about as easy as it gets. The Blink Video Doorbell comes with a Sync Module Core in the box, which is what allows the doorbell to stay connected to Wi-Fi and your phone 24/7. I followed the app instructions, scanned the QR code, and had the whole thing up and running in under 15 minutes. I mounted it using the included hardware, connected it to my Wi-Fi, and paired it to Alexa without a hitch. This is a battery-powered doorbell with a two-year battery life—which is a major win. I’ve used plenty of smart doorbells that needed recharging every few months. Not this one. It just runs. Video Quality and Viewing Angle One of the best things about this doorbell is the head-to-toe HD view. You can actually see packages at your doorstep clearly—something a lot of older doorbell cams miss. The expanded field of view also means I’m not just seeing who's at the door, but what’s going on around them. It captures the full picture vertically and horizontally, making it feel more secure and complete. The video quality is surprisingly sharp for the price. Even in varied lighting—sunny afternoons or cloudy mornings—it consistently delivers a clean image. The infrared night vision kicks in after dark and still gives you a solid picture without overexposing faces or losing detail. Smart Features and Daily Use Smart detection on this doorbell works better than I expected. It’s good at picking out people from background movement like wind or passing cars. I haven’t gotten spammed with alerts every time a leaf blows across the porch. It knows the difference. Live view loads quickly through the Blink app or Alexa-enabled device. I’ve used Echo Show to check the door and the response time is solid. The two-way talk is also clear—there’s barely any delay, and people on the other side can actually hear me without that muffled, underwater sound a lot of doorbells suffer from. I’ve had short conversations with delivery drivers and guests without needing to open the door. And yes—it works seamlessly with Alexa. It is amazing to view anyone coming into view of my door, connected to indoor chime gives alert also. Think the appearance of it at front door will put off any potential burglars in general that we have a high tech system.

I didn't realize I would have to subscribe ($) to be able to see the videos it captures. Also, the bell only rings outside even though I had an electrician hook it up. Not the latest version, so I'd go with a better one.

Good product for door security and integration to Home Security

We previously had a ring doorbell, but saw these on sale. Glad we made the switch and don't see us going back. Interface is easy and integrates well with out current environment.

The sensor is very sensitive. It is a wide camera lense, so it is able to capture a lot. Battery drainer tho.
