I really like the Ring doorbell because it sends a notification when somebody approach to my home.

I would not purchase this item again. The instructions for set up were less than helpful. I ended up calling tech support to get the doorbell set up correctly.
The "two-year" battery life advertised lasted less than a month. We put new batteries in it a few weeks ago and the batteries are low once again, At this rate, it will be cheaper to replace the doorbell with another brand than to keep replacing batteries.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
