This BlueParrott B250-XTS Noise-Cancelling Headset in Blue is a great way to go handsfree. The convenience of a handsfree Bluetooth headset has many benefits. This one doesn't fall short on quality, clarity, or convenience. Setup: Out of the box, this headset needs to be charged fully. It doesn't take that long at all, and once charged fully, it stays charged for a while, depending on how much you use it. It has an average of 20 hours talk time. Pairing it to your smartphone or tablet is easy, even for non-technical people. Learning to use: Learning to use this headset is a breeze. The big button on the side of the headset turns it on and off, is use for pairing the headset, answers calls, and ends calls. The lower buttons controls volume. Sound quality: The sound quality is outstanding. There is hardly any background noise to the other party. My voice was clear and concise, and the other party could hear me well. I could hear them without any issues at all. Music, GPS on my smartphone, and using my personal assistant on my smartphone was easy to do as well. The music sounded great, and the clarity of the GPS instructions were very clear. Physical aspects: The only drawback about this headset, was that it wouldn't stay in place on my head. The top part kept sliding backwards or forwards, after a few minutes. The microphone cover has a replacement included. There is also another earpiece cover included too. It comes with a USB C cable to charge the headset. All in all, I would definitely recommend this headset.

    Great sound, minimal features

I spend most of my day wearing a headset due to the constant ringing of my office phone. Having used BlueParrott headsets before, I appreciate their consistent quality and minimal issues. I’ve found this brand to be one of the most reliable brands I’ve used. However, there are a few missing features that I find hard to overlook. First, I wish this headset had a voice command for answering calls. Although the large answer button is easy to locate, I don’t always want to take my hands off the keyboard. Another notable absence is the “Raise to Mute” feature. It would be convenient to mute the mic instantly by raising the boom, rather than relying on buttons. I don’t always trust myself to press the right button when trying to mute. Additionally, the headset has a continuous blue indicator light which blinks when connected, and can be distracting. You can disable this feature by following the instructions in the app. On the positive side, the sound quality is excellent, and callers have given no complaints. The flexible mic can be positioned on either side, a detail I can’t seem to find advertised. Plus, the headset offers both foam and leatherette ear covers, along with a replacement mic cover. Overall, it’s a solid choice for everyday use, and I’m very happy with it, despite missing some advanced features.

This is a great Bluetooth headset for those looking for one that gives you the best possible situational awareness because you would use only one ear to listen to conversation while your other ear has the perfect ability to listen to your surroundings unobtrusively. A good use case for this headset includes but not limited to truckers, receptionists, customer service agents, etc. Of course, you can also use this for Zoom meetings etc. so that you can ascertain the optimum voice clarity for both sides of the call. Being a Bluetooth headset that supports multi device connection, you can also connect it simultaneously to one other device such as your PC, tablet, phone etc. I’m pleased with the product and the following are my findings. Design and Comfort The build quality is quite good: a combination of high-quality plastics and metal. It looks and feels sturdy enough. In general, Jabra/ Blueparrot products are known for their quality and reliability and this headset is no exception. It comes with extras: earpiece and microphone foams, and both of them are of good quality, so I’d say this headset should last for quite a while. I use the leatherette, though, and have no need to use the foam. I have no problem with the fitting and I can place the microphone and the earpiece on either side of my head. The microphone unit swivels so you can position it on either side of your head. My only concern is that I have to fully extend the headset to cover my ear entirely and I would imagine that people who has larger head than mine would likely can still fit though with a bit less comfort. I can still feel the weight on my ear though that the headset is fairly light. Once it’s there, it will stay there nicely. Call Quality and Noise Cancellation The headset is rated to block 91% of background noise. Noise cancellation works and as stated it would not completely cancel out background noise. However, it’s effective enough for the other person to hear your voice clearly. The headset has good clarity for phone calls in terms of audio input and output, and I’m quite amused that it performs even better for apps. I’m getting excellent results for Whatsapp phone calls and Facetime. At the maximum volume level and using the default leatherette ear cover it’s already loud enough. Charging and Battery life The headset has USB-C charging port and it comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable that is quite convenient because most car chargers still use USB-A ports. The battery is rated at 20 hours of use so that’s great because I would only use it at most for several hours in a day. Conclusion This is an excellent Bluetooth headset in terms of build quality, comfort and performance.

As more of us started working from home over the last few years, sitting at a desk with a phone up to our ears hasn’t been practical, so it’s important to find a good wireless headset for your calls. The Blueparrott B250-XTS is on the list of sets to consider when buying one. I’ll just refer to it as the B250. The B250 is similar to many “operator style” headsets, in that you have a single mono speaker headpiece that rests against one of your ears, and a plastic adjustable piece on the other side that rests against your head. The length is adjustable. The microphone arm is flexible and can be bent and swiveled where you want it, on either side. It’s pretty comfortable – you will know you’re wearing a headset, but once adjusted correctly, it’s not exactly uncomfortable, though it could be better. Charging the B250 is via USB-C, and you pair it to your phone via Bluetooth, which is pretty straightforward. Claims are it has a range of up to 66 feet, but that’s most likely when tested with no obstructions; indoors with walls, I am able to roam 2-3 rooms away from my phone and still get a signal, though at the further ranges I do get a little big of digital garble. When going to the other end of the house (ranch style 1 story) from the phone source, I did lose signal, but this is with at least 4 walls and 40 feet indoors. I’m ok with the range for the type and price of this device. Noise canceling through the mic works pretty well. I went outside on a breezy day with some traffic noise nearby, and the person on the other end said they could still hear me clearly. Indoors, I'm told I'm very clear. It does also seem to block noise through the earpiece as well, but keep in mind you only have one ear in use since it’s mono, so you’ll still hear noise via your other exposed ear. Battery life is said to be up to 20 hours, but note, using noise canceling and cranking up the volume will reduce that max claim. I haven’t had it long enough to give an exact hour amount per use, but it easily is getting me through a work day when fully charged without running out of power. Buttons on the side allow you to answer calls or hang up, adjust the volume, and pairing. The side controls do add a little bulk to this compared to some, but it’s not overly heavy. Overall I like the B250. It makes calls convenient when you need to move around and frees up your hands, and the battery life and call quality are good enough to use for the day. I do wish the adjustable arm with the headrest on it would extend just a bit more for larger heads, and that the headrest piece came with a foam covering to make it more comfortable, in the same way you get foam pieces for the earpiece and mic. As it is, there’s no way I could wear it for hours on end as it just puts too much pressure on the side of my head – I do have to take it off several times during the day to give my head a break… maybe make it out of rubber or again, include a pad for it? So the B250 is definitely not perfect. But for the price, it’s worth trying as everyone’s tolerance and head shape is different.

With a home business that requires me to be on the phone a lot I have tried earbuds and headphones. Earbuds make my ears itch if I wear them too long. Headphones can be heavy and mess up my hair. If I just use my phone I don’t have my hands free to do to other things. I found the BlueParrott B250 XTS Noise Cancelling Headset to solve all those problems. It fits more like an head band and feels so comfortable. Although these say noise cancelling I can talk on the phone and still be aware of my surroundings with my other ear. I have both hands free to take notes or whatever I need while I am talking. They are heavy enough to stay in place on my head yet light enough so they don’t give me headaches. My set came uncharged but it did include a USB-C charging cord but no block to plug it into. It fit in an old IPhone block that I had laying around. I wish they would have included the block I love that the microphone easily slides up out of the way when I am not talking but just as smoothly slides down to talk. It stays where I put it. The set comes with a leatherette ear cushion that is so comfortable but there is also a Foam ear cushion included. There is already a microphone windscreens on the set but includes another one. I love the sound of the other person talking as it is so clear and sounds like they are right beside me. I do love this set.

This is designed for truckers and office workers. Just wanted to say that. If your someone who works at a desk or does a lot of video calls and meetings, this would be arned close to perfect. The packaging comes with a leatherette style ear cushion and a standard foam style. So you can choose which one is more comfortable for you, but if you're planning on wearing it for the full workday, you'll ne remissed to buy a few replacement foam cushions as they are as fragile as they are comfortable. The buttons are large and very easy to get to and use. Where there is a huge power, slash play/ pair button and, of course, there are the volume and forward / back buttons. There's a nice sized type-C charging cable( that you can just put in storage. I'm sure you've got a few cables laying around already.Charging only takes about and hour or 2 and you're good to go for the day. As it is only one ear, youare able to listen to music, but i wouldn't recommend it. If you've gone stereo, therre's no reason to go back, when it comes to your listening pleasure. There's a extra boom mic cover acked inside, which is cool and it's pretty affordable to boot. Again, drivers should love this, as its design allows them to stay alert ans have good noise cancelling conversations. Office workers are in the same boat, because it kills off the noise in the office. The only problem I really have is the long-term comfort for eye glasses wearers. It's not very comfortable after a couple of hours of wear. Other than that little issue, this should do the trick.

I will start by saying this Blue Parrott headset is amazing! The clarity that comes through this headset is outstanding and it works wonderful to block out noises in th background. Im around heavy equipment machinery all day and this headset will block out all that unwanted noise. It is super easy to connect to your phone and operate. It took me seconds to get it connected. I love how it has a simplicity to the buttons making it easy to work while you are busy and rushing. It is not complex at all to to answer the phone or to hang up the phone.... you just press the button. The design is very comfortable and provides cushion on the hearing side. I do wish it was adjustable just a little more for the opposite side so that it would come down just a little bit farther but other than that it is doable. The quality of sound, clarity, and the outreach for this headset is perfect. I have no issues with connections, static, range or anything else. Overall i highly recommended this headset for your daily hands free calls.

Bluetooth headsets have evolved in so many ways I have a ton of pictures of myself with early bluetooth headsets that will never see the light of social media day. With all the growth bluetooth headsets have seen, somehow the Blueparrott B250 - XTS is still left with so many opportunities for improvement. As far as design, I feel the B250 have major opportunities for improvement. The cover for the headphone side of the headset is made of that old foamish material, which, for long sessions doesn’t feel comfortable. If it’s hot, like here in Texas and you sweat? Not a pleasant experience. The non-headphone side of the headset just ends above my other ear. Maybe its a bias because we’ve spent so much time either with earbuds or two earphones covering our ears, but I don’t like the one ear design. That impacts sound quality which I’ll speak on later. Initial setup with the B250 is super easy. Hold the power button to cut them on, connect to your phone via Bluetooth. Just like that, you’re ready to go. Once you actually get going you run into other issues. Like sound quality. Calls sound tinny. Add on the fact that you only have on earphone. While you have the audio from your calls coming in on one side, a side which your ear isn’t plugged with an earbud, or completely covered and surround by the earphone and cushion like most over the head headsets, the other ear is completely free. So the sound on the one ear isn’t the greatest and definitely not great enough to leave the other ear free. People I’ve talked to with the B250s say they hear me fine, which is good, and I can hear them, but it’s just not a solid experience. Dealing with audio other than calls. Like music, not something I’d recommend. While overall the ease of use for the Blueparrott B250 - XTS headset may appeal to some, I don’t feel like other headsets are complex enough to sacrifice the sound quality and feature of other products.

I have been using this headset in the office for a little over a week now and the noise cancellation on this headset is truly impressive. I first tested this with my co-worker and I had him step outside and give me a call while I played music through my desktop speaker set up and through the Alexa dot that is nearby. I had the volume at 36 which is pretty loud on the speakers and my co-worker mentioned that he couldn't hear any music at all and he could only hear a faint sound of music when I raised the volume to 50 which can be heard throughout the entire lobby and sound travels to all other surrounding offices. I switched out with him and was truly impressed by how clear the voice was even with background music playing. For the noise cancellation portion I give it a 5 out of 5. Although noise cancellation is great, comfort is somewhere it lacks. Working in an office setting while getting a lot of calls requires long use but I could only comfortably wear this headset for about 20 minutes before my ears starting feeling pain from the pressure of the headset. The cushiony ear pad that is placed as default is also more comfortable than the foam ear pad since that one is very thin. Another added bonus was being able to pair this to 2 devices at the same time. I had it paired to my personal phone and my work phone. I would play music or a podcast from my personal phone and when a call came through my work phone, I could answer by pressing the button on the headset with no issues. My music would pause on my personal phone and I could continue my conversation on my work phone. Overall, I do like this headset for the fact that the noise cancellation works exactly as advertised. My phone calls are no longer interrupted by the bosses yelling to each other about something from across the room.

Today I am reviewing the BlueParrot B250-XTS noise cancelling headset. I currently have two different BlueParrot headsets, one for work and one for home. When I saw the B250-XTS, I realized it might be a good addition to the other two. Additionally, it might connect to 2 of my amateur radios, allowing me to go hands free while driving. First Impression: My initial impression of the headset is that it is very well made. Unlike my other headset, it has a metal headband instead of a padded one. The plastic pieces feel solid and able to withstand use in an automobile. Also, the button side is quite a bit bulkier. Personally, I like the bulky side because while reviewing it, I had zero problems finding the correct button quickly when answering or ending calls. The speaker does not go in the ear but sits on the ear. The padding is quite comfortable. The headset comes with a foam earpiece cover, but I find the original one more comfortable. The mic and speaker are adjustable so the headset can easily be moved from one side of the head to the other. The mic and speaker are easy to adjust but stay in place once moved. Unlike my other headsets, the mic doesn’t sit in front of my mouth, but on the side. This is nice because if I am drinking coffee or eating something, I don’t have to continually move the mic out of the way. Also, it helps reduce the popping noises from speaking directly into the mic. However, without the windscreen, you can still hear yourself breathing. Use the windscreen! What’s in the Box: • BlueParrott B250-XTS Headset • USB Cable • Foam Ear Cushion • Two Mic Windscreens • Quick Start Guide. • Warranty Sheet. Technical Specifications: • Headset Size: 7”L x 6.1”W x 2.1”D • Headset Weight: 2.52 oz. • Operating Temperature: 14° to 140° Fahrenheit • Storage Temperature: 14° to 113° Fahrenheit • Operating range: Up to 66 feet • Talk Time: 20 Hours • Standby Time: 490 Hours • Charging Time: ± 3-1/2 Hours • Charging Connector: USB-C • Speaker: 36mm • Speaker max input power: 50mW • Speaker frequency range: 150-6800 Hz • Microphone type: bi-directional electret • Microphone frequency range: 150-6800 Hz • Microphone sensitivity: -47dBV/Pa • Paired devices: Up to 8 devices, only 2 at the same time (multi-use) • Bluetooth® compliance: Bluetooth version 2.1 +EDR • Supported Bluetooth® profiles: A2DP v1.2, hands-free profile v1.6, headset v1.2 • Supported modes: EDR (2 and 3 Mb), SCO, eSCO, sniff mode • Security: 128-bit encryption • Operating range: Up to 66 feet Fit: The headset sits comfortably on the ear, and the headband sits above the opposite ear. It’s not as comfortable as my other headset, but it’s not bad by itself. But using it with my Shokz headset or my hearing aids is uncomfortable. App: The BlueParrot B250-XTS uses an app called My BlueParrot. This app is used to register the headset, enable and configure SMS text readout, update the firmware, and display headset status. The status such as battery level and volume does not change in real time; you must go to a different screen and go back to see the change. Once the headset is configured, you won’t need the app again unless you want to update the firmware. Initial Setup: I tested the headset with my Samsung S22 Ultra. My primary review is for phone usage. You can also play music through it, and for a phone headset, it sounded pretty good. But I don’t like single-earpiece headsets for music. I was going to also pair it with my Yealink T46U VoIP phone, but it doesn’t have a Bluetooth adapter. I checked for a firmware update through the app. The firmware was current. I also enabled the SMS reading feature. I thought this would be a great feature, especially for use in my truck. But after about 2 hours, I went back in and disabled it. It is a good feature but needs to be able for me to select if I want to have the headset read it. I get a lot of texts and emails, and it reads the entire thing. Charging: I charged the headset before turning it on. The initial charge took 45 minutes. After using the headset all day, the battery level stayed at 100%. After 3 days of mild use, the battery level was still at 100%. I am absolutely amazed at the battery life on this headset. The specs say 20 hours of talk time, but with a few exceptions, my use looks to be about a week at a minimum between charging. Sound quality: I made my first call, and the audio was weak. The app showed the audio level as 100%. I clicked on the Settings button and then went back to the Home button and the audio was only 52%. I brought it up to 100% with the side buttons and it was too loud. So, the headset can produce audio levels loud enough for moderately noisy rooms. The noise cancellation reduces noise 91%, so these headphones will do good for most people. The audio quality is very good. This headset is a communications headset, and the audio quality reflects that. Voice audio is very clear and clean. It isn’t crisp, which is good, because that can be very tiring. I could wear this headset all day with heavy telephone use, and my ears wouldn’t get tired. When asked, people reported good transmit audio from my end. On one call, I was outside in low-moderate winds, and the windscreen did a good job of eliminating wind noise. Conclusion: I like this headset. It is comfortable to wear and has really good audio quality. The buttons on the side are big and spaced out enough to easily detect which button you are looking for. The microphone quality sounds good at the distant end, and the mic being on the side of the mouth helps eliminate microphone popping. If I could change anything, it would be to the SMS talking feature. I really like the SMS feature, but I would like to see the feature modified so that I could select with one of the buttons if I wanted to hear it. If you are looking for a good headset at a good price, then I highly recommend this headset. If you wear hearing aids or use bone conduction headphones, you might find these headphones uncomfortable.

For battery life, we know how important it is for our users to get the most out of their headset's battery, especially those who wear their headsets for taking calls all day. It is incredible that after three days of mild use, the battery level was still 100%! To address your suggestion about the text message readout feature allowing you to select which messages to read, we will mention this to our relevant teams for consideration. Please let us know if you have additional feedback to share or if there is anything our Support team can do for you: https://www.blueparrott.com/supportpages/blueparrott-b250-xts#/#204426. Thank you. The BlueParrott B250-XTS has established itself as a popular choice for professionals working in high-noise environments, from truck drivers to warehouse workers, as well as working from home once you have it set up to a computer. The features, performance, comfort, and overall value to determine if it lives up to the hype and if it's the right headset for you and for me it does. Upon unboxing the B250-XTS, you'll find the headset itself, a USB-C charging cable, a foam ear cushion, a spare microphone windscreen, and a quick start guide. The headset is designed with durability and functionality in mind. The sturdy construction features a flexible boom arm and an adjustable headband, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for various head sizes. The aesthetic is utilitarian, prioritizing function over fashion. The headset is predominantly black with blue accents, giving it a professional look. The ear cushion is made of soft foam, providing a comfortable fit even during extended use. The headset boasts a range of features designed to enhance communication and productivity in noisy environments: 91% Noise Cancellation: The headset's most significant selling point is its impressive noise cancellation technology. It effectively filters out background noise, allowing for clear communication even in the loudest of environments. I tried it here at home and during the day its noisy. VoiceControl Pro: This feature enables hands-free operation of the headset, allowing you to answer or reject calls, control music playback, and access other functions using voice commands. Wideband Audio: The headset supports wideband audio, which provides a richer and more natural sound quality compared to narrowband audio. A2DP Support: The Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) allows you to stream music, podcasts, or GPS directions from your phone to the headset. Does this very well, using this a lot. Multipoint Pairing: Connect the headset to two devices simultaneously, such as your phone and computer, like I have and seamlessly switch between them. Its so cool. The headset excels in noise cancellation, making it a top choice for noisy environments. Whether you're on a construction site, in a warehouse, or driving a truck, the headset effectively blocks out background noise, allowing you to focus on your calls or music. The sound quality for calls is exceptional, with clear and crisp audio on both ends of the conversation. The microphone picks up your voice accurately, even in loud environments, thanks to its advanced noise-canceling capabilities. I have tested it and its amazing to say the least. At home or in the car taking calls. For music listening, the B250-XTS performs well. While it might not satisfy audiophiles, the sound quality is more than adequate for casual listening, which is ok, its better as a headset for calls and personal computer audio. The wideband audio support enhances the listening experience, providing a fuller and more natural sound. The headset's adjustable headband and flexible boom arm ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The soft foam ear cushion rests gently on your ear, and the over-the-head design distributes the weight evenly, preventing discomfort during extended wear. However, some users have reported that the ear cushion can get warm after a few hours of use. This is a common issue with over-the-ear headsets, but it's worth considering if you plan on wearing the headset for long periods. It has an impressive battery life, offering up to 24 hours of talk time on a single charge. This is more than enough for a full day of work, and even heavy users should be able to get multiple days of use before needing to recharge. The headset also features a quick charge function, providing up to 2 hours of talk time with just a 20-minute charge. In short, very thought they would make one of these I'm so fond of and here I am wrong again. Keep in mind this isn't for audiophiles but its for everyone else.

Working in a coffee factory tends to get noisy and I'm not always at my desk to answer calls. I needed something that would cut through the noise and the ear buds weren't working out. That's why I decided on this Blue Parrott Noise cancelling headset. First impressions, it doesn't look very aesthetically pleasing though the design appears functional and the buttons easy to press. The larger multifunction button is easy to find without looking for it; it handles power on/off, answer/end call, and Bluetooth pairing. The boom mic is bidirectional so you can switch ears based on preference. Adjusting the headband proved difficult as it feels very tight any way you put it and, as a result, causes pressure at the cushion area. I'm hopeful this will ease up as time passes though I hope sooner than later. Call quality is very good, customers detect only minimal background noise, not sure if that's 91% reduction, but good enough. I like that I can connect my personal phone and work phone simultaneously. It's great for video calls in noisy areas where I would usually have my face up against the microphone on the phone obscuring the purpose of the call. Bluetooth connection works every time with connectivity distance being better than usual. Aside from the tight fit, I think this headset is a good buy.

**The only con to this headset is that it’s bulky. I don’t like the piece over the head but I understand it serves its purpose in supporting the earpiece. Now, on to the good stuff! I have never experienced such crisp and clear sound quality on a phone call. I probably spent a total of 12 hours using this headset on phone calls. I asked each caller if they could hear any of the background noises and none of them could. I had taken calls outside, in an auto repair waiting room, brewery and a pizza place just to name a few of the noisier spots I had been. Wearing the headset wasn’t cumbersome at all. It was surprisingly comfortable, I just didn’t like it esthetically. For the noise cancelling quality this headset offers, I understand the need for the design. My calls were to people in similar settings as I was. A friend who is a trucker was driving on a call I made to him. I wasn’t able to hear any of the noise from the cabin or his music he had playing although the volume was low. It was a perfectly clear phone call! If you make a lot of calls and value sound quality is highly recommend this headset.

So I received my BlueParrott - B250XTS Noise Cancelling Headset a few days ago and have been putting it through its paces. The headset is pretty standard headset that you would see someone like a receptionist that answers a lot of calls would use throughout the day. The headset features a thin headband and a small on-ear cuff for the right ear. On the right side of the earcuff is the mic boom arm that is adjustable as well as the power button and volume buttons. Also included is a USB-A to USB-C charging cable that connects just under the earcuff. To get started just power on the headset by pressing and holding down the power button. Once in Bluetooth pairing mode, ensure that your mobile device (cell phone, laptop, or tablet) is also in Bluetooth pairing mode and select the B250-XTS device in the Bluetooth settings to connect. Once connected you're good to go. I was impressed with the clarity of the call. Other callers could tell that I was wearing a headset however they noted that sounded perfectly fine. I recommend this headset for someone that answers calls throughout the day or someone that has a work from home office/business.

All the controls on the BlueParrott headset are easily accessible and large enough to find without having to take off the headset to look for them. All of them are on the side of the earpiece. There are only 3 control buttons that do all necessary functions of the headset. Multifunction Button (MFB) with indicator light, volume up/mute, and volume down. There is a voice prompt that tells you when the power is on, ready to pair, off, and connected. Pairing the BlueParrott B250-XTS headset is quick and easy. OTHER FUNCTIONS: - Last number redial – hold down volume down button for 1 second. - Reject a call – press MFB for 2 seconds. - Voice Dial – used with cell phone- by quickly pressing the MFB. When a tone is heard, say the command you want and the cell phone voice dialer will open. - Automatic Bluetooth connection- When the headset is powered on, it will automatically attempt to connect the last device with which it was paired. - In total, the BlueParrott B250-XTS Headset had several functions according to which button is used and the length of time that particular button is pressed. This is advertised as a phone or mobile product headset, and for good reason. The controls are designed for use with a mobile product. Since it is Bluetooth, it will connect to a laptop or desktop with Bluetooth. I connected it to both my phone and laptop, since we use Teams for work, I wanted a smooth transfer between devices. It works great, even with Windows. Sound quality was great, especially for one earpiece. Somehow the noise cancellation works even with your other ear open. The hardest thing to review for a headset is the sound on the other end of the call. My coworkers said it sounded like I was in the same room, better than most of the other mics that were in use. All of this from an unsupported OS. Needless to say, big plus on that. As for use with a phone, definitely install the Blue Parrot app. The initial update is almost mandatory. The app is quite basic and easy to find what you need. Four buttons across the bottom with everything where you would expect to find it. The range is very impressive, being able to use with phone and laptop makes the range even crazier for me in use with Teams. As for comfort, there are two earpieces to chose from (foam and pleather) and two mic covers. I like that it is ambidextrous and simple controls. The boom mic is adjustable and can go to either side. I prefer my mic and earpiece on my right hand side. The voice in the headset is discrete enough that you can hear the call even when the voice says something or beeps. An example is the second device connects or you are on mute. This is designed to connect to up to two devices at the same time. Very easy setup. My only wish would be auto mute when raising the boom arm. Other than that, barking dogs in the background could not be heard in the calls I have been on. Even when the dogs were in the same room as me. Overall a great headset, especially if you like having one ear open. When using noise cancelling headphones, I feel like I am talking in a tunnel or tin can. So I LOVE one earpiece! Love this headset.

I've been using the BlueParrott B250-XTS Noise-Cancelling Headset for a few weeks now, and I'm thoroughly impressed! This headset is an absolute game-changer, especially if you work in noisy environments like I do. The Enhanced Xtreme Noise Suppression technology is incredible; it blocks out 91% of background noise, ensuring that my calls are crystal clear, even in the busiest settings. The sound quality is exceptional, not only for calls but also for streaming music and GPS directions. The wideband audio adds a depth and richness to the sound that I wasn't expecting from a headset primarily designed for calls. Plus, the ability to connect to any Bluetooth device makes it super versatile. One of the standout features for me is the battery life. With up to 20 hours of talk time on a single charge, I never have to worry about it dying during a long shift. The USB-C charging is also a nice modern touch, making recharging quick and easy. Comfort is key for any headset, and the B250-XTS delivers. It’s lightweight and the foam ear cushion ensures that I can wear it all day without discomfort. It's also built to last, which is reassuring given my demanding work conditions. Overall, the BlueParrott B250-XTS is a top-notch headset that combines superior noise cancellation, excellent sound quality, and long-lasting comfort. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, high-performance headset. Five stars all the way!
