We love Dustin (now named Dark Helmet), The amount of detail put into even the packaging is amazing. Dark Helmet is so quiet when he is cleaning that it is a huge plus. After the mapping, Dark Helmet went to work, and there is a lot of it. We have 4 cats and a dog. If you have a zoo like we do, I would suggest running each room and then send him home to self empty at least the first couple times. Let's talk about that fantastic feature of self-emptying, shall we? Dark Helmet docks and then empties his contents. I hope he doesn't mind me sharing his personal habits. We are very pleased with Dark Helmet's cleaning, there is even a spot cleaning option. We would highly recommend Dustin a.k.a. Dark Helmet.

Awful device. Does not charge properly. Struggles to find its charging pad.

Horrible. Can barely pick up a crumb. Can't ever find the charger even when it's 2 feet away. The app sucks. Just avoid.

Worked good at first. Then about 3 months in it says the dust bin isn't engaged when it is and it won't run.

Dustyn did not hold his own in the age old battle between Australian Shepherd hair and robot vacuum.

After 10 days disconnected from WiFi and couldn’t connect again. I contacted customer service but nothing they were suggesting worked I will have to return it

Bob (Dustin) came into our home just a few short weeks ago and we just love him. Of course, Bob does all the work. We just gave him some simple instructions on the app and he whisked his way into our hearts. Bob’s app is easy to install and navigate and lets Bob do all kinds of tasks relating to his main job, vacuuming and keeping our floors and carpets clean. Believe me, Bob knows what he’s doing. He avoids obstacles, stops at predetermined perimeters, and goes about his chore very quietly and then returns to his home on the charger pad. He even empties himself. Bob would make a good house guest for anyone or even a great roommate. Now when a bit of debris appears on the floor, we say, “Bob will get it.” One thing about Bob. He always keeps it clean.

I ended up returning this, the battery couldnt even do a forth of my down stairs the sweeper arm kept flying off. Spent a little more and purchased a shark.

We have received our new employee, Bob. Bob shows up on time everyday and works very diligently. He is very neat and tidy in his work and leaves no unwanted debris. Bob has been an excellent employee and friend and gets along very well with his older brother, Bob Senior. Bob has helped us eliminate extra help and has freed up valuable time for us to be able to do other things while he is at work. Bob makes sure he automatically empties the trash that is accumulated throughout the day. Bob never gives us an back talk and has been a great Joy to have as an exemplary employee!!

This product is By far the worst product that best have ever Sold. Everything thing about this product is bad. Not even worth 50$

Unless I can get help setting up this vacuum, I will have to return it. It is too confusing for me to figure out how to set it up with a computer.

I have owned multiple brands of robot vacuums in the past. Currently this is the best one I have owned. Pros: (Biggest pro: Self-emptying, Customizable, Mapping once you have an accurate map) - The mapping feature is great, however in my experience i needed Dustin to map the house 4 times before it got a perfect map. I would recommend putting the vacuum suction mode to "None" when mapping so it doesn't drain the battery and can get a map to your liking. - The ability to control the suction power - Low is very quiet. I work from home and run the vacuum daily while I am working but have the suction set to low. But when I am out i bump it up to medium or high. Medium is a little louder, may not recommend if you're in a work meeting. But High - definitely would not recommend if you're in a work meeting or working from home. High is a bit loud but works. - The ability to send Dustin to a specific room to clean - works great as long as the map that is saved is accurate. - The scheduling i enjoy how customizable it is. Scheduling does require a map. But it allows you to select days, which rooms you want, and the suction power to be used. - The self emptying function - works great. I did encounter it not properly self-emptying 1 time though. But that was due to Dustin being clogged with dog hair. We have a Husky/Shepard with very thick hair. Hair so thick it clogs upright vacuums if we don't vacuum for a while. So running Dustin daily has been amazing - no issues self emptying otherwise. - The mopping feature - i used one time on hardwood. It wouldn't replace an actual mop where you may need some more elbow grease. But for a light cleanup it did a decent job. I still would use my regular mop though since we have 2 dogs and they track in mud when it rains. The mop feature is also customizable in the app for both scheduling as well as how much water you want it to use. - Dustin finding its charger and properly docking worked great every time so far. In the past with other brands of robot vacuums its been hit or miss on properly docking. But with Dustin i have needed to assist it only 1 time and that was when i initially took it out of the box to charge. Cons: (Biggest Con: Mapping feature in the app) - The mapping portion of the app is not user friendly when it comes to tweaking the map. Dustin had split my Kitchen into 3 rooms originally. You can combine the rooms HOWEVER it grayed out the middle part of the kitchen. If a room is grayed out - it cannot be tapped on to connect the rooms. So you have to delete the whole map, can't delete just part of the map. Then have Dustin remap the whole house or area again. I would suggest the ability for the mapping feature to either remap a single room OR the ability to combine gray rooms. Since Dustin saw the room and scanned it. It just didn't think it could clean that area. - Continuing on with the map tweaking, its a slight challenge to mark no-zones (no vac/mop) since you get a small line or a big square. Its either too touchy or not touchy enough in the sense you tap on the map and sometimes the line is in the middle of the house OR its crooked and can't be adjusted easily. - Replacement bags for the self-emptying container are only available through manufacturer, cannot be found on Amazon. However the bags do last a bit (depending on how often you use the vac, how dirty your living area is) - If you have thick dog hair, this vacuum may not be the best fit since thick dog hair could potentially clog the self emptying bin.

We love Dustin the robot vacuum! We haven't tried the mop option yet, but the vacuum is wonderful. We had a robot vacuum before and it was always crashing into walls and furniture - we couldn't run it at night because it scared our kids. It also got stuck constantly! Not the case for Dustin! No crashing into furniture and walls, and it rarely gets stuck. It even cleans the washable rugs we have that no other vacuum seems to clean. It is quiet, effective, and easy to use. I am so happy we got this vacuum!

Its a very bad product... doesn't work at all.. tried multiple attempts of reset/map/use... customer service was of no-use

Our bObsweep is doing the living room floor as I write this review. It would be a 5star rating except it is not made clear on the package that to use all the features of this great robot you need to have a 4mGz wireless network. Be sure to check with your internet provider before you buy! We had fast speed, and so the scheduling and mopping features could not be activated because they require a map, which is done on the app and our "Bobbie" could not join our home network, and I was so disappointed. After two weeks of just letting it "Go" and roam around the whole house, doing its great job of cleaning (and if that is all you want, it is still worth the price), I called CenturyLink, and someone there, who deserves a 5 star review, set us up with a second, slow speed network, and just like that, after only three days of "Go" runs Bobbie made a map, so I could designate rooms, set "mop free zones" and make a schedule for cleaning automatically. Our floors have never looked better, and if there is a problem between scheduled cleanings, Bobbie can be sent out to do a Quick clean of that room or I can make a designated area on the map for a Quick spot clean. Love that it self empties after every cleaning. So far we have not had to empty the bag and it has been almost a month. We have fir trees on our lot, and Bobbie can pick up the troublesome needles that come inside, and everything else on the floors. A few times it got stuck under a low table, so I learned to put books under them to block Bobbie but it is also great it can go under places our old vac didn't reach. I can't say enough about how superior a product this is, much better than the older robot vacs that got bad reputations because they didn't work that great. Our bObsweep Dustin vac is a great product, and we got it on a Best Buy Deal of the Day for less than $300. Best money I ever spent, if only it would do windows, too : -) Our living room rug has never looked better; the "tracks" Bobbie leaves makes it look like a football field, he covers the entire floor, and when he is done, he hustles back to his base and empties himself. How great is that!! The wood and tile floors don't have a crumb left after Bobbie is done and I do a Quick Room clean of the Entry and Kitchen every day so it is spotless. Enough said, free you time and delight your eyes with how great your floors will look, buy bObsweep, a Canadian company (and the map is not on the internet, just on the vac so no worries on privacy which is a concern with other brands). You deserve it!

This vacuum is amazing- very impressive. It vacuums around things like chairs and tables without getting stuck. It moves behind sofas and recliners and gets back out. It goes between the slight height difference between the two types of floors without any problem. I love that it returns and empties the dust bin. I have a couple cats and this is able to keep the loose hair under control. It is very quiet on the low power setting and increases accordingly on the higher power but nothing out of the ordinary. It comes with a cute birth announcement on delivery.

No matter how you program it, it will get stuck. This brand is notorious for getting stuck all the time.

Never connected to the wifi properly, didn't make to follow-up the schedule yo clean no even once, stayed rotating in one spots

Didn’t work as expected. Kept getting stuck around table and chairs.
