Poor Power on subwoofer channel and when bridged

Rated power for bridged and subwoofer channels is extremely far off. I tried multiple subwoofers both bridged and on the dedicated subwoofer channels at a variety of resistances: 8,4,2, and 1 ohm on both aforementioned channels and while the amp appeared to be 1 ohm stable it doesnt put out anywhere near the power at any resistance my kicker 800w amp did through the same subwoofer(s) at 4 ohms (rated 300w). This amp gets two stars because it ran speakers well enough at 4 ohms and maybe I just got a bad unit.
All and all I would recommend this amp to someone whom I disliked strongly as it will in my experience lead you down a long rabbit hole of trying in vain to get even a fraction of the rated wattage to your woofers.
If you're just planning on running 4 channels of speakers though this amp is good but at that point why roll the dice with long term reliability when this thing doesn't even do what it's supposed to out of the box; buy nice or buy twice.
I'm also bumping this review down from two stars to one as now that I think about it this is the first time I've ever truly hated an object. I hope this underpowered amp spends an eternity on the shelf unsold to make up for the hours I spent trying different subwoofers and wiring configurations. I now have a boss I hate. Boss audio.
