|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to try the Brother - DS-640 Compact Mobile Scanner but the only problem was I couldn't get it to connect to any device. Mac and Windows! Nothing would recognize the scanner. The whole trying to set this device up really caused a headache and still it is unusable.

Posted .Hi, I see you are experiencing an issue with connecting your machine. I'll be happy to help. The Remote Setup application allows you to quickly set up your machine by taking advantage of the ease and speed of programming. When you access this application, the settings on your machine will be downloaded automatically and displayed on your computer screen. If you change the settings, you can upload them directly to the machine. Click the link below to remote setup.

Works great! The only thing it can’t do is feed multiple documents at a time so it can be time consuming.

I have a scanner on my printer and it has never consistently worked. So I bought this portable scanner and wish I had bought it sooner.

I returned it because my tax advisor suggested using something else.
